The Manchester United team that should start against Fulham
Manchester United will travel to Craven Cottage on Wednesday night as they look to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League table against Fulham.
With just one defeat in their last eleven games in all competitions, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side have been performing very well in all aspects of play, leaving the manager with some decisions to make.
As we hit the halfway point of the season and suspension looming over a few key heads with one more misdemeanour, 90min takes a look at the side that should start for Manchester United.
1. Goalkeeper & defenders
David De Gea (GK) - United's number one has been in good form this season, so keeps the shirt for this one.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka (RB) - After a shaky spell of form, the former Crystal Palace man looked back to his best against Liverpool with great defending and even creating the best chance of the game for Pogba.
Eric Bailly (CB) - Was unlucky not to get the nod against Liverpool but his current form means he should come in to afford Harry Maguire a rest and ensure he doesn't get a fifth yellow card and suspension.
Victor Lindelof (CB) - Returned to the team against Liverpool and was excellent once again. Arguably United's most improved player this year.
Alex Telles (LB) - Has been second choice to Luke Shaw since signing for the most part but has a great delivery on him and with Shaw also under threat of suspension he should come in.
2. Midfielders
Nemanja Matic (CM) - The energy and legs of McFred were preferred at Anfield, but Matic's strength and stature would be of better use against Fulham's midfield.
Paul Pogba (CM) - United's most in-form player, the Frenchman's role has chopped and changed in recent weeks but his performances have remained high. Must-start right now.
Donny Van de Beek (AM) - With Bruno Fernandes looking leggy and one card away from a suspension, the Dutch summer signing should get a rare start to help United retain possession and create in the final third.
3. Forwards
Mason Greenwood (RW) - The youngster has struggled to make a huge impact this season but has always got a goal in him.
Edinson Cavani (ST) - A penalty box striker, Cavani's instincts could see him be vital to occupying the Fulham defence and getting on the end of anything they create.
Anthony Martial (LW) - Has found form in recent games playing from the left or up front and should get the nod in this one again.
