The Manchester United lineup that should start against Burnley
By Max Parsons
Manchester United resume their Premier League campaign on Sunday afternoon when they welcome Burnley to Old Trafford.
Sean Dyche's side have had a tough time of it since the international break, losing two from two - firstly 3-2 to Southampton (in which they led by two goals) and then 2-1 at home to Newcastle. The Clarets, however, look likely to stay up at this stage, sitting seven points clear of the relegation zone with a game in hand.
They could also become just the second side to ever avoid defeat in five consecutive trips to Old Trafford on Sunday - replicating Chelsea's feat between 1994 and 1998.
United are in fine from, however. They come into this game off the back of securing their place in the Europa League semi finals, while domestically the Red Devils have rarely put a foot wrong in recent months. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men have lost just once in ten games - a 3-1 loss to Leicester that dumped them out of the FA Cup - and are aiming for a fifth straight Premier League win on Sunday.
Here's the Manchester United lineup that should continue that wonderful form against Burnley.
1. Goalkeeper & Defenders
Dean Henderson (GK) - David De Gea had a good outing in the Europa League last time out, but Henderson is the new Premier League number one.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka (RB) - Another excellent defensive showing last timeout makes him almost certain to retain his place - could have an interesting battle should Dwight McNeil be deemed fit to play.
Victor Lindelof (CB) - Has been a mainstay in the United side this campaign and should be in line for his 11th start in 12 Premier League games.
Harry Maguire (CB) - Was absent from Thursday night's clash with Granada due to suspension but will come straight back in to captain the side.
Luke Shaw (LB) - Another to have missed that game with suspension and, although Alex Telles was good against Granada, Shaw is playing exceptionally well.
2. Midfielders
Fred (CM) - Can either be brilliant or god awful, for no apparent reason. Should be in control of the midfield battle here, covering lots of ground in front of the back four.
Scott McTominay (CM) - Will likely return to the lineup following his suspension from Europa League duties.
Bruno Fernandes (AM) - Was fairly quiet against Granada but maybe that's because he's saving himself for a stellar showing this weekend? 24 goals and 13 assists this season prove he's more than capable.
3. Forwards
Marcus Rashford (RW) - Left on the bench for Thursday's game but, fitness permitting, could slide back into the side in place of Mason Greenwood, looking to add to his 20 goal haul.
Edinson Cavani (ST) - Anthony Martial's continued absence is music to the ears of the Uruguayan, who has shown recently that he's still brilliant at linking up play, moving off the ball to create space and finishing clinically.
Paul Pogba (LW) - Has proven to be very influential from the left and, with three assists in his last four (including a superb headed flick to set up Cavani's strike last time out), there's no reason to rock the apple cart.
