Max Allegri confirms Adrien Rabiot will play vs Sampdoria
Max Allegri has confirmed that Adrien Rabiot will feature for Juventus in their Serie A clash with Sampdoria on Monday evening.
Rabiot had been widely expected to leave Juve this summer, with Man Utd agreeing a £15m fee to sign the midfielder. However, the move fell through due to Rabiot's unwillingness to take a wage cut in order to join the Red Devils.
Now set to stay at Juventus, and likely run down the final year of his contract at the club, Allegri has insisted that the midfielder is in his plans moving forward during a pre-match press conference.
"Rabiot will play tomorrow," said the Italian. "There is room for everyone: the changes will be very important."
Allegri also discussed the mountain of injuries at Juventus currently, providing updates on both Paul Pogba and Angel Di Maria.
Scott Saunders, Graeme Bailey & Toby Cudworth bring you Talking Transfers, discussing Erik ten Hag wanting to sign five players before the transfer window closes, and Man Utd's attitude to selling Cristiano Ronaldo. Available on all audio platforms and the 90min YouTube channel.

“There’s a lot of noise when there is a muscle injury for Juventus," added the Juve boss. "Di Maria has had an adductor problem, he will be out for a week, maybe ten days. Or he could be back earlier. I can do nothing for Pogba’s meniscus or McKennie’s shoulder injury.
“Szczesny had an adductor problem which can be solved. Mattia Perin is reliable, but injuries are part of the season.
“I am not worried. We are working with intensity, we played three important games, and the rest of the team feels well. We have to work quietly to improve our shape and take a step at a time.”
