Major League Soccer has revealed the 2024 All-Star game will see the league's best take on the Liga MX All-Stars this summer at Lower.com Field.

MLS and Liga MX's best will clash once again on July 24 at the home of reigning MLS Cup champions Columbus Crew, renewing the rivalry between the two leagues.

Last summer, the MLS All-Stars took on Premier League giants Arsenal at Audi Field in a comfortable 5-0 triumph for the Gunners. Now, MLS and Liga MX's All-Stars will meet for their third All-Star game clash just a couple of days before the 2024 Leagues Cup tournament commences on July 26.

The two leagues saw their best players go head-to-head prior to last summer, with MLS winning 3-2 on penalty kicks in 2021 and 2-1 in normal time in 2022.

"It is a privilege to participate in the 2024 MLS All-Star Game for the third time. LIGA MX will bring together its best players to form a competitive team. This will be another chapter of this sporting rivalry, which allows us to continue building a great partnership with MLS," Liga MX President Mikel Arriola said in a release.

"We are very excited about the opportunity to reconnect and be close to the Mexican fanbase in the United States. I'm sure we'll have a great experience in Columbus."

All-Star voting is expected to begin in either May or June as the fans will decide who'll represent MLS and Liga MX come July in Columbus, Ohio. The likes of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Cucho Hernandez will more than likely represent MLS, while Sergio Canales, Erick Sanchez and Julian Quinones could suit up for Liga MX.
