Manchester City's defence of the FA Cup resumes on Sunday with a trip to St. James' Park.
The home side remain unbeaten since the restart, having registered four points against newly-promoted sides Sheffield United and Aston Villa.
On the other hand, City have had a mixed return. Pep Guardiola's men recorded convincing wins at home to Arsenal and Burnley, but saw their title hopes – such as they were – officially ended by a 2-1 defeat at Stamford Bridge on Thursday.

With the Magpies being 12 points clear of relegation, and ten points off the top six – that is to say, with nothing left to play for in the league – there's no reason for Steve Bruce not to put out a strong lineup.
Bruce may be without midfielders Isaac Hayden and Matt Ritchie. The latter went off injured in the draw against Villa, while Bruce has admitted that former Arsenal youngster Hayden may miss out with an issue of his own.

Man City will also likely be putting out a strong side after their title defence was finished with this week's defeat against Chelsea.
The away side will be without Fernandinho following his red card against Chelsea, while record goalscorer Sergio Aguero will be out for the rest of the season with the knee injury suffered in the win against Burnley.
Algerian winger Riyad Mahrez is likely to be rested, being the only City player to start all three games since the restart.

Recent Form
Newcastle have made a strong return to football, picking up a win and a draw so far. However, they have hobbled through the FA Cup, needing replays to beat League One sides Rochdale and Oxford United before defeating Championship promotion chasers West Bromwich Albion at the Hawthorns.
City made an emphatic return, scoring eight while conceding none while demolishing Arsenal and Burnley. That was halted by the defeat to Chelsea. The Citizens are also yet to face Premier League opposition in this competition yet, having beaten Port Vale, Fulham, and Sheffield Wednesday to reach this stage.

Prediction
With their league seasons all but over, both sides will go into this one fully motivated. City's enormously talented squad obviously makes them favourites, although Newcastle will feel like they can get a result, having not lost to Guardiola's side in their last two home meetings.
