Next Leicester City manager - the contenders to replace Brendan Rodgers
Following a rather disastrous defeat to Crystal Palace, Leicester City finally made the difficult decision to sack long-serving manager Brendan Rodgers on Sunday.
The ex-Celtic and Liverpool manager had overseen some wonderful highs at the King Power Stadium - namely the FA Cup triumph in 2021 - but the club's Premier League form has nosedived in recent months, with the Foxes now sitting in the relegation zone with just 10 games left.
So who's going to be given the job of saving Leicester from relegation?
We've taken a look...
1. Adam Sadler and Mike Stowell
You read that as Adam Sandler, didn't you?
Don't worry, we all did.
It's not the actor though, it's the long-serving first-team coach who has stayed at the club with Mike Stowell following Rodgers and assistant manager Chris Davies' sacking.
The pair previously overseen first-team games when Claude Puel was sacked back in 2019, and will be given the chance to do so again until a new manager is appointed.
If they hit the ground running wins over Aston Villa and Bournemouth next week then they might be trusted to see out the rest of the season.
2. Thomas Frank
The current bookies favourite and an appointment that would make a lot of sense on paper.
Frank is a brilliant manager who has a versatility to play notably eye-catching football or route-one stuff depending on the opposition, and has done an extraordinary job with Brentford in recent seasons.
Would it make sense for the manager to leave the Bees when they're seventh in the Premier League and on the brink of European qualification for a team who are 19th in the table, however? Probably not.

3. Rafael Benitez
Sure, Rafael Benitez's recent spell at Everton was an unmitigated disaster, but you can't deny the rest of the man's CV.
Two La Liga titles, a UEFA Cup, an FA Cup, a Coppa Italia, a UEFA Europa League and one UEFA Champions League triumph. It's all immensely impressive.
Benitez has also previously successfully fought fires at the foot of the league table too, working his magic to keep Newcastle United in the Premier League for a number of seasons.
The Spaniard could be the quick-fix manager that the Foxes need to stay up.
4. Mauricio Pochettino
Could Leicester swoop in before Tottenham?
It's possible.
Poch has been out of work since leaving Paris Saint-Germain last season, and has been tentatively linked with every single job that's come up since then.
It would be an exciting appointment for Foxes fans, but we doubt Pochettino would be particularly enthused with the idea of managing a club embroiled in a relegation battle.
5. Ralph Hasenhuttl
Sacked by fellow relegation candidates Southampton earlier this season, Hasenhuttl's stock certainly isn't as high as it previously has been.
However, having kept the Saints up for a number of seasons previously, Hasenhuttl has experience of the relegation dogfight and his teams usually play quite fun football. He could be a dark horse appointment.
