- The Reds will stay top of the Premier League with a win
- Nottingham Forest sit four points above relegation zone
By Euan Burns
Liverpool will continue their fight for the Premier League title with a trip to face Nottingham Forest on Saturday afternoon.
The two sides are at opposite ends of the table but they are both desperate for points. Liverpool are one ahead of Manchester City at the top and will be hoping rivals Manchester United can do them a favour during the Manchester derby on Sunday.
As for Forest, they sit only four points above the relegation zone and have played one game more than Luton Town, so the situation is very serious for Nuno Espirito Santo's side. The narrow defeat against Man Utd in the FA Cup will have dampened spirits further, but Liverpool's injury situation means there is always a chance for the home side.

Nottingham Forest team news
Having missed the match against Man Utd and with no proper details being given by Espirito Santo about their return dates, Ibrahim Sangare, Ola Aina and Willy Boly are expected to remain absent.
Nuno Tavares is also out right now, as is Chris Wood, meaning Forest are giving Liverpool a run for their money when it comes to injuries. Former Liverpool forward Taiwo Awoniyi should lead the line, but fellow ex-Liverpool player Divock Origi is expected to drop to the bench.

Liverpool team news
As seen in the Carabao Cup final and the team manager Jurgen Klopp chose against Southampton in the FA Cup, Liverpool have a lot of players out injured.
Klopp has already confirmed Mohamed Salah won't be available to face Forest, but Dominik Szoboszlai and Darwin Nunez have trained and could be involved. Wataru Endo and Andy Robertson may make the matchday squad, while Alexis Mac Allister is hopeful of shaking off an illness.
Ryan Gravenberch, Joel Matip, Ben Doak, Curtis Jones, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Stefan Bajcetic, Thiago Alcantara, Diogo Jota and Alisson Becker are all out.

Nottingham Forest vs Liverpool score prediction
There's always upset potential whenever a top side like Liverpool is ravaged by injuries and travels away to one of the bottom-half sides. However, given how well the Reds can play even without many of their best players, it's hard to bet against them.
Klopp's side looked almost unrecognisable against Southampton but still recorded a comfortable 3-0 win. Forest are really struggling right now and don't seem to have the confidence to beat one of the division's best teams, even an injury-hit one.
