Nuno Mendes ruled out for remainder of PSG's season through injury

Paris Saint-Germain have confirmed that left-back Nuno Mendes will not return from injury this season.
Mendes has battled a handful of muscular injuries this season but recently made his return from one as he played just over half an hour in the recent 3-1 defeat to Lorient, coming off the bench to replace Juan Bernat.
He could not complete the game, however, as Mendes was forced to limp down the tunnel in the dying embers and leave PSG with just nine man after Achraf Hakimi's earlier red card.
"We are losing Nuno Mendes to a muscular injury," said manager Christophe Galtier after the game, and now PSG have confirmed the extent of the problem.
"After suffering a lesion to his right hamstring against Lorient, Nuno Mendes will not play again this season," a club statement read.

Mendes' latest injury leaves just Bernat as the team's only natural left-back, with the Spaniard set to play a significant role until the end of the campaign.
Bernat recently admitted he was uncertain over his future in Paris after losing his starting spot to Mendes.
“I don’t know what will happen to me,” Bernat told Prime Video Sport France. “Once the season is over, we’ll see what happens. It’s true that it’s been a complicated season for me. It’s hard to find a rhythm when you don’t play all the time.
“When I do play, I give my all in every game. We’ll see what happens in the future.”
