Ole Gunnar Solskjaer offers injury updates on 4 Man Utd stars after Watford win

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed that no fewer than four players are struggling with new injuries in the wake of Saturday's 1-0 win over Watford.
A much-changed United side managed to book their place in the fourth round of the FA Cup with the victory, but the game was marred by what looked like a scary head injury to centre-back Eric Bailly, who was forced off in first half stoppage time after a collision with goalkeeper Dean Henderson.
Fortunately, Solskjaer confirmed after the game that initial checks on Bailly suggested that the Ivorian had avoided anything serious, but he will continue to be monitored.
“I honestly can’t tell you. He got a good whack," Solskjaer said when asked about the severity of Bailly's injury after the game. “I don’t think it’s concussion so that is a positive but we have got to do scans.
"I think it’s his neck. It’s sore. Hopefully it’s just a muscle injury. We’ll check him tomorrow and hopefully he won’t be out too long.”
Bailly himself took to Twitter after the game to ease fans' concerns, writing: "I am OK, it was just a knock."
Solskjaer was also asked to explain the absences of Luke Shaw, Victor Lindelof and Paul Pogba, all three of whom were omitted from United's matchday squad. He revealed that the trio are all injured, but opted against going into any further detail.
“You know we had a tough game midweek," he added (via the club's official website). "We have a tough game midweek coming, so we were the only team having both [midweek fixtures] before and after this game.
"You can see most of the teams have gone strong, picked very good strong sides, because they've got a week until their next game. I didn't have that luxury, so it was just common sense to make changes.
“We'll have the boys ready again [for the next game against Burnley]. Some of these will play probably, and there'll be a few new fresh legs as well that managed to get a rest tonight. The staff are doing an amazing job. They look after the players fantastically. But the players are looking after themselves as well.
"Don't forget that it's hard times for everyone, difficult times for everyone, but going home, recovering, getting ready for the next games is the main thing right now.”
