Paris Saint-Germain are yet to win a game in Ligue 1 this season under Luis Enrique and will be desperate to change that when they take on Lens this weekend.

The margin for error when it comes to being PSG coach is almost non-existent and if PSG do anything other than win at Parc des Princes, serious doubts will start to set in among the fanbase about their prospects this season.

Luckily for PSG, Lens haven't enjoyed a very good start to the season either with just one point from the first two fixtures. They suffered a summer of change after an incredible 2022/23 season where they qualified for the Champions League.

Here is all you need to know about this Ligue 1 clash which both PSG and Lens desperately want to win.

There are a number of injuries for Luis Enrique to deal with in his PSG team, although they are not to players you would necessarily say are automatic starters.

Presnel Kimpembe, Juan Bernat, Nuno Mendes, Nordi Mukiele, Sergio Rico and Alexander Letellier are all absent for the visit of Lens, but Enrique does now have a scoring Kylian Mbappe back at his disposal. The Frenchman netted from the bench last weekend in the draw with Toulouse and should start this time.

There are four main absentees for Lens to deal with as they head to the French capital. Jimmy Cabot, Wuilker Farinez and Wesley Said all have injuries and will miss the game. There is also a suspension to deal with, with Neil El Anyaoui not eligible to be involved.

A 3-4-2-1 is the expected formation for Lens despite the fact that they are going away to the champions. They will feel that they still possess the quality to get a result against a shaky PSG side.

Paris Saint-Germain vs Lens score prediction

With the assumption that Mbappe will make his first start of the season and the form of Lens being taken into account, it's really hard to bet against PSG getting all three points here to kick-start their Ligue 1 campaign.

Lens won't make it easy for them and they will have a point to prove, but there is just too much quality in that PSG attack with a front three of Ousmane Dembele, Goncalo Ramos and Kylian Mbappe.

Prediction: Paris Saint-Germain 3-1 Lens
