Each month, you can vote for your favourite players across five divisions of English football, for the chance to win incredible prizes, including the opportunity to present the award to the winning player.

Your Premier League nominees for January are...

Goals: 3

Jarrod Bowen's excellent form extended into the new year, where he continues to pose a constant threat for the high-flying Hammers.

The 25-year-old delivered a match-winning performance against Norwich, scoring both goals in a 2-0 win. He also netted in the defeat to Leeds.

Surely it's just a matter of time before Gareth Southgate hands him an England call-up?

2. Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool)

Appearances: 3
Goals: 0
Assists: 2

Although he wasn't necessarily a standout performer in his all-round play, Trent Alexander-Arnold was still hugely influential in January.

The England international picked up two more assists to take him to a ridiculous 15 for the season so far.

He caused Chelsea and Brentford all sorts of problems with his playmaking from right-back. One of a kind.

3. João Moutinho (Wolves)

Appearances: 3
Goals: 2
Assists: 1

Arguably Joao Moutinho's best ever month in a Wolves shirt as the Portuguese veteran rolled back the years.

In just three appearances the 35-year-old delivered two match-winning performances either side of a typically solid showing against Southampton, netting a pinpoint winner at Old Trafford to see off Man Utd before scoring a peach of a goal at Brentford with the outside of his boot.

Moutinho assisted compatriot Ruben Neves' winner in that one too, as Wolves secured a 100% record in January.

4. Jack Harrison (Leeds)

Appearances: 3
Goals: 4
Assists: 0

Jack Harrison has scored four Premier League goals in 2021/22 - and they all came in January.

The winger got off the mark against Burnley before scoring a hat-trick on the road at West Ham - a trio he capped with a lovely dink over the onrushing Lukasz Fabianski in an impressive 3-2 victory for Leeds.

What is it they say about London buses?

5. Kevin De Bruyne (Man City)

Kevin De Bruyne has looked back to his best in the last couple of months as he has just about reached peak fitness once again.

The Belgian was influential in another unbeaten month for Man City.

De Bruyne scored a stunning individual goal against his former club Chelsea - running clear of N'Golo Kante before planting a long-range strike beyond Kepa Arrizabalaga - before providing a pinpoint set-piece assist for a crucial equaliser at Southampton.

6. James Ward-Prowse (Southampton)

A month that will mainly be remembered for one moment.

Set-piece expect James Ward-Prowse scored an absolute screamer from a free kick in defeat at Wolves, using a corkscrew technique to send the ball flying into the top corner from all of 30 yards.

That strike was sandwiched between an excellent performance and assist against Brentford and a solid showing in Southampton's hard-earned draw with league leaders Man City.
