Philadelphia Union are all set to square off against Colorado Rapids in the Leagues Cup third place match.

The Eastern Conference team tried to fight back in their semi-final clash against Columbus Crew, but the current MLS Cup champions were too much for Jim Curtin's side. Despite crashing out in the last four of the competition, the Union can still qualify for next season's Concacaf Champions Cup with a win against the Rapids.

Curtin will likely stick to his 4-1-2-1-2 system with Daniel Gazdag at the focal point of attack just behind Mikael Uhre and Tai Baribo, who could make a return to the XI after missing out vs Columbus due to suspension.

Here's how the Union could take the pitch vs Colorado.

GK: Andre Blake - The Jamaica international starts in goal once more and he'll look to put in a better showing against the Rapids.

RB: Olivier Mbaizo - Curtin could look to make a change at right-back and give Mbaizo the nod over Nathan Harriel.

CB: Jakob Glesnes - The 30-year-old defender anchors the backline after a poor showing last time out.

CB: Jack Elliott - Like Glesnes, Elliott also didn't have the greatest of performances against the Crew and will look to put in a better shift Sunday afternoon.

LB: Kai Wagner - Curtin will hope that Wagner will have more an impact with his excellent delivery from wide areas.

DM: Leon Flach - Like the rest of the Union midfield, Flach struggled against the likes of Darlington Nagbe and Sean Zawadzi in the semi-final and will be eager to put in a better performance next time out.

CM: Jack McGlynn - One of Philadelphia's best young talents starts in the middle of the park alongside the veteran Bedoya.

CM: Alejandro Bedoya - The longtime Union player is the glue in the middle of the park that keeps things running to help the team transition from defense to attack.

AM: Daniel Gazdag - The Hungary international spearheads the attack, aiming to add his third goal of the tournament.

ST: Mikael Uhre - Uhre will be eager to get back in goalscoring form that saw him find the back of the net against Mazatlan and Cincinnati in a bid to help Philadelphia qualify for the Champions Cup.

ST: Tai Baribo - After serving a one-match suspension vs the Crew, Baribo returns to the lineup to form a strike partnership alongside Uhre.
