Following a week during which:

- Manchester City lost another game of football.

- Tottenham Hotspur won another game of football.

- Serhou Guirassy scored another hat trick.

- Jude Bellingham single-handedly won another game for Real Madrid.

We at 90min are back for week four of our famed (yes, famed) power rankings series...

10. Manchester City (down 2)

Here's something we didn't think we'd write this season:

Manchester City are very lucky to make the list of current best teams in Europe.

And they're lucky because they've lost three of their last four games in all competitions. Yes, Man City have lost three of their last four games.

It's a weird world we're living in.

9. VfB Stuttgart (new entry)

It's fair to say that VfB Stuttgart and their ridiculously in-form striker Serhou Guirassy are the surprise packages of the 2023/24 season.

With his 13 goals in seven games, Guirassy has fired Stuttgart up to second in the Bundesliga table - even ahead of Bayern Munich.

8. Inter (down 3)

Despite their star man Lautaro Martinez playing the best football of his career, Inter have started to drop a few points in Serie A.

They now sit second in the table having recently drawn against Bologna and lost to Sassuolo.

7. Atletico Madrid (new entry)

Thanks to the stunning early season performances of Antoine Griezmann and Alvaro Morata, Atletico Madrid are looking like genuine La Liga title challengers.

Having won their last four games on the bounce in the division - including beating Real Madrid 3-1 - Atleti are just five points off top spot and have a game in hand in the locker too.

6. AC Milan (new entry)

AC Milan now have two of the best goalkeepers in the world on their books.

One is Mike Maignan, and the other Olivier Giroud - yep, that Olivier Giroud.

Having gone in goal after Maignan was sent off when Milan had used all their substitutions, Giroud made a rather remarkable last minute save to earn his team a huge 1-0 win over Genoa.

The win saw Milan move up to the top of the Serie A table.

5. Newcastle United (down 4)

Knocked off top spot this week, Newcastle United run of four consecutive wins came to an end thanks to a thrilling 2-2 draw with West Ham United at London Stadium.

The draw did see the Magpies extend their unbeaten run in all competitions to seven games though, which is still pretty damn impressive.

4. Arsenal (up 5)

Finally.

At the 16th time of asking in the Premier League, Arsenal finally beat Manchester City.

A deflected goal from Gabriel Martinelli was enough to earn Arsenal the famous win over a raucous Emirates Stadium crowd.

3. Real Madrid (up 1)

There's plenty of flaws in the current Real Madrid squad:

- They don't have a top striker.
- Their full-back are nothing to write home about.
- The centre-backs haven't won a header since 2021.

And absolutely none of that matters because they have Jude Bellingham. The England star has bagged ten goals in ten games across all competitions and Madrid are top of La Liga.

2. Tottenham Hotspur (up 1)

Hands up who thought Tottenham Hotspur would be top of the Premier League heading into the October international break?

Everyone who put their hands up are liars.

No one did.

And yet, here we are, in mid-October and Tottenham are top the league without losing a single game.

1. Bayer Leverkusen (up 1)

Bayer Leverkusen's 2023/24 season so far:

Games played: 10
Games won: 9
Games drawn: 1
Games lost: 0
Goals scored: 37
Goals conceded: 7

The numbers don't lie, Leverkusen are ridiculously good right now and that is all down to their manager Xabi Alonso.

The ex-Liverpool and Real Madrid midfielder looks like he's developing into the next great European football manager.
