Premier League confirms November Player of the Month nominees
- Harry Maguire and Raheem Sterling both nominated for Premier League award for November
- Stars from Man City, Newcastle, Bournemouth and Luton also shortlisted
- Liverpool's Mohamed Salah won POTM for October
The Premier League has confirmed its nominees for the Player of the Month award for November, with Harry Maguire and Raheem Sterling both up for the award.
Maguire, who has forced his way back into the Manchester United setup at Raphael Varane's expense, helped the Red Devils to three wins from as many games, not conceding a single goal in the process.
The former Leicester defender made the joint-highest number of blocks for the month and the fifth-highest amount of clearances.
England outcast Sterling produced attacking returns in three games as Chelsea picked up four points in November, netting against former side Manchester City as well as scoring a brilliant free-kick in the heavy 4-1 defeat at Newcastle.
Joining the two Three Lions internationals on the shortlist are City winger Jeremy Doku, Newcastle forward Anthony Gordon, Luton goalkeeper Thomas Kaminski and Bournemouth star Marcus Tavernier.
Doku bagged four assists during a thumping win over Bournemouth, while Gordon contributed goals in Newcastle's wins over Arsenal and Chelsea.
24-year-old Tavernier ended the month with two goals in a 3-1 victory at Sheffield United, while Hatters shot-stopper Kaminski made 15 saves in November.
Liverpool's Mohamed Salah claimed the prize for October after scoring in all three of the Reds' games, while Tottenham pair James Maddison and Son Heung-min scooped the awards for August and September respectively.
A public vote is combined with the views of a panel of football experts to decide the winner. Voting is open until Monday 4 December with the winner announced on Friday 8 December.
Fans can cast their votes for Maguire, Sterling, Doku, Gordon, Kaminski or Tavernier on the EA Sports website.
