Saturday afternoon sees Gameweek 14 in the 2023/24 Premier League season get underway with Arsenal, Newcastle and Manchester United all in action.

The Gunners start the weekend at the top of England's top flight and will be keen to extend that lead when Wolves visit the Emirates. Everton will hope to claw back some of the deficit inflicted by their recent points penalty when they meet Nottingham Forest, while Newcastle and Manchester United duke it out later in the evening after midweek Champions League disappointments.

With five games in total for Gameweek 14, here's how you can follow all the thrills and spills.

Arsenal vs Wolves

  • Location: London, England
  • Stadium: Emirates Stadium
  • Date: Saturday 2 December
  • Kick-off Time: 15:00 GMT / 10:00 ET / 07:00 PT
  • Referee: Peter Bankes
  • VAR: John Brooks

A lot has happened since Mikel Arteta's VAR outburst at Newcastle in November. That includes four straight wins in all competitions, the most recent triumph being a 6-0 thumping of Lens in the Champions League.

The Gunners now sit of the top of the Premier League and will look to maintain that position ahead of upcoming games against Luton Town, Aston Villa, Brighton and Liverpool. First though, they must see off a Wolves team that has earned upset wins over Manchester City and Tottenham so far this season.

  • Location: Brentford, England
  • Stadium: Gtech Community Stadium
  • Date: Saturday 2 December
  • Kick-off Time: 15:00 GMT / 10:00 ET / 07:00 PT
  • Referee: Anthony Taylor
  • VAR: Andy Madley

After consecutive losses to Liverpool and Arsenal, Brentford will think of this home clash against Luton Town as the perfect opportunity to get back on the horse.

The Hatters, however, scooped their second league win of the season against Crystal Palace last time out to move four points clear of the bottom three. The last time these two sides met, Ivan Toney and Tom Lockyer were sent off in second-half stoppage time in a 1-0 Bees win in the Championship in January 2021.

Burnley vs Sheffield United

  • Location: Burnley, England
  • Stadium: Turf Moor
  • Date: Saturday 2 December
  • Kick-off Time: 15:00 GMT / 10:00 ET / 07:00 PT
  • Referee: Chris Kavanagh
  • VAR: Stuart Attwell

Things are looking rather bleak for Vincent Kompany's Burnley after seven straight defeats. However, there is hope of a turnaround as Sheffield United visit Turf Moor.

The Blades shrunk in their home clash with Bournemouth as they were soundly beaten 3-1 and a response is needed in a similarly high-stakes encounter at the bottom of the table. The two teams have conceded a combined 66 goals this season.

Nottingham Forest vs Everton

  • Location: Nottingham, England
  • Stadium: City Ground
  • Date: Saturday 2 December
  • Kick-off Time: 17:30 GMT / 12:30 ET / 09:30 PT
  • Referee: Paul Tierney
  • VAR: Michael Oliver

Three of Everton's four Premier League wins so far this season have come away from home and Sean Dyche's side will be plotting a response to on and off-field events when they journey over to Nottigham Forest.

Steve Cooper's outfit have lost their last two games by a 3-2 scoreline and recently lost Taiwo Awoniyi to injury. They have an eight-point buffer over the relegation zone but a third defeat in four games would likely spark further alarm bells at the City Ground.

  • Location: Newcastle, England
  • Stadium: St James' Park
  • Date: Saturday 2 December
  • Kick-off Time: 20:00 GMT / 15:00 ET / 12:00 PT
  • Referee: Robert Jones
  • VAR: Michael Salisbury

Two sides who suffered disappointing Champions League draws in midweek round off Saturday's Premier League action when Newcastle United host Manchester United.

A Kylian Mbappe penalty denied Newcastle a crucial win at Paris Saint-Germain, while Man Utd couldn't hold on to a 3-1 lead in Turkey as Galatasaray earned a point to further damage the Red Devils' aspirations in Europe.
