Premier League fixtures today - your guide to Saturday's games
By Euan Burns
Southampton have already been sent packing to the Championship and much of the focus during Saturday's Premier League action will be on the teams that could join them.
Both Nottingham Forest and Everton can make big statements in the relegation scrap in their matches against Wolves and Arsenal, but there's also a lot to be decided at the top of the table with European qualification still to be determined.
Here's the state of play in the Premier League on Saturday.
Tottenham vs Brentford
- Location: London, England
- Stadium: Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
- Date: Saturday 18 May
- Kick-off Time: 12:30 BST / 07:30 ET / 04:30 PT
- Referee: Jarred Gillett
- VAR: Andy Madley
The early kick-off on Saturday will see Tottenham host Brentford in a big game in north London. Spurs can no longer finish in the top four, their highest possible placing now being sixth.
They need the points to grab that spot off Brighton but it will be a tough task. Brentford can move within a point of Tottenham with a win but will be without star striker Ivan Toney after he was handed an eight-month ban for betting violations.

Liverpool vs Aston Villa
- Location: Liverpool, England
- Stadium: Anfield
- Date: Saturday 20 May
- Kick-off Time: 15:00 BST / 10:00 ET / 07:00 PT
- Referee: John Brooks
- VAR: Tony Harrington
Liverpool are having to rely on favours elsewhere as they continue their late Champions League bid. All the Reds can do is continue their superb form and hope they find themselves in fourth come the end of the season.
Aston Villa got the better of Tottenham last time out and are still in with a serious chance of getting a Europa Conference League place or even a Europa League spot. They have it all to play for when they visit Anfield.

Wolves vs Everton
- Location: Wolverhampton, England
- Stadium: Molineux
- Date: Saturday 20 May
- Kick-off Time: 15:00 BST / 10:00 ET / 07:00 PT
- Referee: David Coote
- VAR: Paul Tierney
Wolves are now assured of their place in the Premier League next season but the same can't be said for Everton. They could end the weekend back in the bottom three but if the Toffees were to win in the West Midlands, they would be looking pretty healthy.
They are one point above the drop and must hope Leeds and Leicester beneath them do not pick up victories of their own this weekend.

Bournemouth vs Manchester United
- Location: Bournemouth, England
- Stadium: Vitality Stadium
- Date: Saturday 20 May
- Kick-off Time: 15:00 BST / 10:00 ET / 07:00 PT
- Referee: Chris Kavanagh
- VAR: Craig Pawson
This is the game Liverpool fans will be keeping a close eye on during their own match. They need Manchester United to drop more points if they are to catch them in fourth as United have played a game fewer and are a point ahead.
Bournemouth are now safe and it remains to be seen whether they will now take their foot off the gas or if this will be a tough afternoon on the south coast for United. Marcus Rashford has returned to training, while Raphael Varane is also back after injury.

Fulham vs Crystal Palace
- Location: London, England
- Stadium: Craven Cottage
- Date: Saturday 20 May
- Kick-off Time: 15:00 BST / 10:00 ET / 07:00 PT
- Referee: Chris Kavanagh
- VAR: Craig Pawson
At this stage of the season, you end up with a few games that are essentially dead rubbers. Both Fulham and Crystal Palace can still climb a little higher in the table, but the only thing really on the line is the extra prize money that comes with each position in the Premier League.
There are players on both sides that could have their eye on moves in the summer or new contracts, however, so it should still be a fairly competitive game at Craven Cottage even without too much riding on it.

Nottingham Forest vs Arsenal
- Location: Nottingham, England
- Stadium: City Ground
- Date: Saturday 20 May
- Kick-off Time: 17:30 BST / 12:30 ET / 09:30 PT
- Referee: Anthony Taylor
- VAR: Neil Swarbrick
There is the potential for the Premier League title to be won on Saturday if Nottingham Forest can get all three points at home against Arsenal, but the Gunners will be desperate to keep the fight going for as long as possible.
Forest are only three points above the bottom three and still need another result to secure safety, so they certainly won't be rolling over for this Arsenal team. It promises to be a nervy and dramatic affair for both sets of fans.
