We're into the stage of the Premier League season where certain results can feel terminal and there is very little time left to make up for previous mistakes.

Much of the focus this Saturday will be on the bottom of the table with many of the teams fighting for survival coming up against each other. There is also an FA Cup semi-final at Wembley to chuck into the mix, too.

Here is all you need to know about the top-flight fixtures and the FA Cup clash which sees a Championship side bid to make history by reaching the final.

Fulham vs Leeds United

  • Location: London, England
  • Stadium: Craven Cottage
  • Date: Saturday 22 April
  • Kick-off Time: 12:30 BST / 07:30 ET / 04:30 PT
  • Referee: Peter Bankes
  • VAR: Neil Swarbrick

The early kick-off in the Premier League on Saturday tends to feature one of the sides up at the top of the table but there is a slightly different offering this week. Fulham have enjoyed a really positive season but a recent dip in form means they aren't really in the European fight anymore.

They are still the favourites at Craven Cottage against a Leeds side that desperately needs some points after two extremely heavy defeats to Crystal Palace and Liverpool. They are just two points above the bottom three coming into this game in London.

Crystal Palace vs Everton

  • Location: London, England
  • Stadium: Selhurst Park
  • Date: Saturday 22 April
  • Kick-off Time: 15:00 BST / 10:00 EST / 07:00 PST
  • Referee: John Brooks
  • VAR: Darren England

Every game for Everton is absolutely massive now, whereas for Crystal Palace each match is a chance to score some more goals.

Sean Dyche's time at Everton isn't quite going to plan given they remain right in the relegation scrap and could easily be in the bottom three by the time the weekend is over. They will have hoped to be at least a handful of points clear by this stage.

Roy Hodgson's return to Palace could not have gone better so far as they have built a nine-point gap between themselves and the bottom three and look to be safe.

Liverpool vs Nottingham Forest

  • Location: Liverpool, England
  • Stadium: Anfield
  • Date: Saturday 22 April
  • Kick-off Time: 15:00 BST / 10:00 EST / 07:00 PST
  • Referee: Michael Oliver
  • VAR: Paul Tierney

A very interesting game for two different areas of the table, Liverpool vs Nottingham Forest has the potential to be a pretty horrible afternoon for the away side. They showed against Manchester United they are capable of conceding an incredible amount of chances.

They also face a Liverpool side who, while extremely inconsistent, still have it in them to rip teams apart. They showed that last time out when they beat Leeds 6-1 at Elland Road. They still harbour faint hopes of Champions League qualification, while Forest are in the bottom three and in serious danger.

Brentford vs Aston Villa

  • Location: London, England
  • Stadium: GTech Community Stadium
  • Date: Saturday 22 April
  • Kick-off Time: 15:00 BST / 10:00 EST / 07:00 PST
  • Referee: Michael Salisbury
  • VAR: Craig Pawson

A very intriguing clash when it comes to the Premier League's Europa League representatives next season. A defeat for Brentford, who have run out of steam at the wrong time, would make it very hard to envisage them grabbing any sort of European football.

As for Aston Villa, nobody would choose to play Unai Emery's side right now and they will be looking for a sixth consecutive victory in their hunt for any European football. The Champions League cannot even be ruled out at this stage, although it would take a couple of collapses from sides above them.

Leicester vs Wolves

  • Location: Leicester, England
  • Stadium: King Power Stadium
  • Date: Saturday 22 April
  • Kick-off Time: 15:00 BST / 10:00 EST / 07:00 PST
  • Referee: Andy Madley
  • VAR: Chris Kavanagh

Both of these sides need more points to cement their places in the Premier League but it's Leicester who are in worse shape. Wolves are not safe, but with 34 points, they are likely only a win or two away from avoiding the drop.

As for Leicester, the fans are just waiting for something to happen. They start the weekend in 19th place and their last win came on February 11 against Tottenham. If something doesn't change soon, they'll be relegated with a squad of players who think they're too good for the Championship.

Manchester City vs Sheffield United - FA Cup

  • Location: London, England
  • Stadium: Wembley Stadium
  • Date: Saturday 22 April
  • Kick-off Time: 16:45 BST / 11:45 EST / 08:45 PST
  • Referee: Stuart Attwell
  • VAR: Tony Harrington

Saturday's action ends in the FA Cup rather than the Premier League with a massive semi-final at Wembley to enjoy.

Manchester City have got their sights set firmly on a treble with Arsenal stalling slightly in the Premier League, a semi-final against Real Madrid in the Champions League to come, and the FA Cup looking very inviting.

As for Sheffield United, it is a superb achievement to have made it this far given their financial issues and they will be hoping to pull off what would be one of the great FA Cup shocks.
