After a midweek of European fixtures for many teams in the Premier League, attention swiftly returns to domestic action and a number of smaller teams will be looking to take advantage of any tired legs.
There are only five games to look forward to on Saturday with the usual early kick-off slot left vacant, so it all gets underway with the 15:00 (BST) kick-offs which feature most of the smaller sides in the division.
The only top side in action earlier in the day is Manchester City as they look to continue their relentless charge against Nottingham Forest, while the evening kick-off sees Manchester United take on Burnley in what has become a must-win fixture.
Here are all the details you need to know when it comes to Saturday's Premier League matches.
Saturday 23 September - Premier League fixtures
Man City vs Nottingham Forest
- Location: Manchester, England
- Stadium: Etihad Stadium
- Date: Saturday 23 September
- Kick-off Time: 15:00 BST / 10:00 ET / 07:00 PT
- Referee: Anthony Taylor
- VAR: Michael Salisbury
Manchester City are the only team to have won all of their league games so far this season and maintained their form by beating Red Star Belgrade in midweek. There was an injury to Bernardo Silva which makes the absentee list longer, but the squad is still ridiculously strong.
Nottingham Forest have enjoyed a mixed but fairly positive start to the season with seven points from five games and will back themselves to get something, but it will take a really impressive performance.

Crystal Palace vs Fulham
- Location: London, England
- Stadium: Selhurst Park
- Date: Saturday 23 September
- Kick-off Time: 15:00 BST / 10:00 ET / 07:00 PT
- Referee: Paul Tierney
- VAR: Stuart Attwell
Potentially one of the most mid-table fixtures there will be this season, Crystal Palace and Fulham are currently ninth and tenth respectively and there is every chance they will end up close to those positions come the end of the season.
They have identical records so far and both teams boast talented players with plenty to offer, so it's a very hard game to judge. The potential winer will remain in the top half for at least another week which is a great place to build from.

Luton Town vs Wolves
- Location: Luton, England
- Stadium: Kenilworth Road
- Date: Saturday 23 September
- Kick-off Time: 15:00 BST / 10:00 ET / 07:00 PT
- Referee: Josh Smith
- VAR: John Brooks
Luton Town can be excused for not having made a storming start to the new season but really need to start getting points on the board having lost their first four games. This is the sort of match in which there will be a little more expectation.
Wolves' performances have been mixed but the Wanderers are likely to level out as a bottom-half team and Luton must be looking to win this sort of game, especially at home, if they are to have a fighting chance of staying up.

Brentford vs Everton
- Location: Brentford, England
- Stadium: Gtech Community Stadium
- Date: Saturday 23 September
- Kick-off Time: 17:30 BST / 12:30 ET / 09:30 PT
- Referee: Michael Oliver
- VAR: Graham Scott
Speaking of teams that really need a win, Sean Dyche's Everton are away at Brentford and there is no getting away from their serious underdog tag in this kind of fixture these days.
The Toffes have just one point from their first five games and performances have been really poor. Brentford aren't flying but are a much more cohesive outfit and sit up in 11th place. They are the favourites to beat a pretty sorry Everton side on Saturday in one of two evening kick-offs.

Burnley vs Manchester United
- Location: Burnley, England
- Stadium: Turf Moor
- Date: Saturday 23 September
- Kick-off Time: 20:00 BST / 15:00 ET / 12:00 PT
- Referee: Tony Harrington
- VAR: Simon Hooper
Both of these teams need to get a win under their belts but the pressure will really intensify on Erik ten Hag if Burnley beat Manchester United at Turf Moor on Saturday night.
With defeat in midweek to Bayern Munich, United have now lost three games on the bounce, conceding ten goals in the process. The Red Devils desperately need a result and performance they can build on but Burnley have their own problems with just one point on the board so far.
