With the final two months of the Premier League season approaching, the margins are razor thin in the title fight, the top-four battle and the relegation scrap.

At this stage of the campaign, gathering real momentum and the confidence that goes with it is more important than ever for all of those left with something to play for, which just so happens to be the vast majority of sides in the league.

Who is building up that momentum at the moment and who is sorely lacking it? Well, here's how many points each team has amassed in their last six league games....

Manchester City are the only side not to have lost any of their last six games, and Pep Guardiola's have won five of them to keep their title chances very much alive. Arsenal remain favourites in that battle though having won every match since losing to the reigning champions.

The top two are the only to have all but secured Champions League qualifcation with Brighton and Liverpool closing the gap on Manchester United, Tottenham and Newcastle in the past month, although a late win for Eddie Howe's side and Spurs' draw against Southampton last time out have put the Magpies in a strong position.

Chelsea's hopes of qualifying for the Europa League, let alone the Champions League, are looking slim following their draw with Everton, who are in the best form of those fighting to stay in the Premier League.

Leeds and Bournemouth have been on decent runs too, with both sides winning a third of their last six games to do their own chances of avoiding a return to the Championship the world of good.

Leicester looked to have escaped the relegation battle when they went on a strong run of form towards the end of 2022, but they're very much in it again now having lost four of their last five league games.

Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace are the only two sides that haven't claimed a single victory in the last six games, with the latter sacking manager Patrick Vieira as a result.
