Premier League goals of the week: Gameweek 13
By Tom Gott

We're now a third of the way through the 2022/23 Premier League season, with Gameweek 13 throwing up some massive results and offering a worldie or two along the way.
There was a lot going on this week. Liverpool lost to Nottingham Forest, Leeds plunged further into despair and Newcastle saw off Tottenham, but it's the goals themselves that we're focused on here.
Here are six of the best strikes on show this week.
1. Dwight McNeil vs Crystal Palace

Dwight McNeil's Everton career is only 12 games old but he is already just one goal away from tying his best-ever Premier League season in front of goal.
His run for the third in the 3-0 win over Crystal Palace was great but this one is all about that outrageous flick from Alex Iwobi.
Iwobi now has five assists to his name already this year. Not bad.
2. Kevin De Bruyne vs Brighton

You can always rely on Kevin De Bruyne to bring the heat.
When he's not picking out some unreal passes to spoon-feed Erling Haaland, De Bruyne is thundering the ball into the top corner with frightening ease.
Man City's 3-1 win over Brighton was just the fourth game this year in which De Bruyne didn't record an assist, but this long-range worldie should help ease the pain.
3. Granit Xhaka vs Southampton

The Granit Xhaka comeback story continues.
The Swiss midfielder now has two goals in his last two games, including this peach of a volley in Arsenal's 1-1 draw with Southampton.
The Gunners may have dropped points, but that wasn't for lack of trying from Xhaka.
4. Youri Tielemans vs Wolves

Woof.
You'll do well to see a better goal this season that this absolute rocket from Youri Tielemans in Leicester's 4-0 thumping of Wolves.
It's a screamer of a goal and the thwack off the post is the chef's kiss.
5. Callum Wilson vs Tottenham

Aided by Hugo Lloris forgetting how to human, Callum Wilson inspired Newcastle to victory over Tottenham with this excellent opening goal.
He may have had an open goal to deal with, but Wilson still had to get his strike right to leave Spurs' retreating defenders helpless.
It was weighted perfectly, and swiftly followed by...
6. Miguel Almiron vs Tottenham

Jack Grealish must wish he was playing like Miguel Almiron these days.
Since his ill-advised jibe at the Paraguayan during the summer, Grealish has watched on as Almiron has scored six goals in 12 games this year, the latest of which was this superb solo run.
There's strength, composure and end product in this one - all things we didn't see from Almiron last season. Whatever has inspired this upturn in form, long may it continue.
