Pre-season is well underway throughout world football as European teams gear up for the 2023/24 season.
Glamour friendlies are all the rage and the Premier League revealed earlier in 2023 that six clubs will compete in a brand new tournament known as the Summer Series in the United States.
Teams like Newcastle and Chelsea are in action with games between top flight opposition taking place throughout the summer.
Here's everything you need to know about the pre-season event.
What is the Premier League Summer Series?
The Premier League Summer Series is the first pre-season tournament hosted in the United States.
Since 2003, the Premier League held the Asia Trophy every two years across various Asian countries, but that summer tournament hasn't been played since the Covid-19 pandemic.
The tournament will consist of nine games, with each of the six teams competing playing three times. Those with the most points come the conclusion of all the matches will be crowned the inaugural Summer Series champions.
Speaking about the Premier League's Summer Series event, chief executive Richard Masters said: "We are delighted to be bringing six clubs to the USA in July for the first-ever Premier League Summer Series.
"Our clubs have incredible supporters in the US, who passionately follow their teams throughout the season.
"We have seen this dedication first-hand from the tens of thousands who have attended our Mornings Live fan events and are excited to be building on this by bringing live Premier League action to five cities this summer," he added.
Where is the 2023 Premier League Summer Series taking place?
The Premier League Summer Series will take place across five stadiums in five cities along the East Coast of the US.

Sky Sports has confirmed it will broadcast the Premier League Summer Series across its Main Event and Premier League channels in the United Kingdom.
In the US, the Premier League's longtime partner NBC Sports will be the host broadcaster of the Summer Series across the networks of NBCUniversal and Peacock.
