A tough Coupe de France tie is on the horizon for Paris Saint-Germain as they welcome Ligue 1's surprise package Brest to the Parc des Princes.

Brest's credentials were laid out two weekends ago as they fought from 2-0 down to steal two points away from Les Parisiens. However, Luis Enrique's side were able to extend their lead at the top of the division after beating Strasbourg 2-1 on Friday before second-place Nice were held by Eric Roy's gritty outfit.

Enrique will be keen to enjoy a trophy-laden debut campaign in the French capital having already wrapped up the Trophee des Champions, with PSG poised to secure yet another Ligue 1 crown. They're aiming for their first Coupe de France success since 2021.

Here's how Enrique could set his side up on Wednesday night.

GK: Gianluigi Donnarumma - With Enrique poised to name a strong starting XI, number one Donnarumma will remain between the sticks ahead of Keylor Navas.

RB: Achraf Hakimi - Following his AFCON exit, Hakimi returned to Paris ahead of Wednesday's cup tie and is available for the fixture. It wouldn't be a surprise to see Enrique welcome him back into the starting lineup right away.

CB: Marquinhos - The skipper is a shoo-in with Milan Skriniar still out of action.

CB: Lucas Hernandez - Despite competition from the January arrival of Lucas Beraldo, the Frenchman could get the starting gig on Wednesday.

LB: Nordi Mukiele - Mukiele has featured sparingly this season, with the majority of his appearances arriving off the bench. However, Enrique often experiments with his defensive configuration and could utilise Mukiele in an unfamiliar left-back role.

CM: Manuel Ugarte - All is well between Ugarte and Enrique despite the latter's sarcastic comments regarding the midfielder at the start of the year. The combative Ugarte returned to the starting lineup on Friday and could retain his place in midweek.

CM: Vitinha - The playmaker earned minutes off the bench last time out but will surely return to the XI on Wednesday given his importance to PSG's build-up.

CM: Warren Zaire-Emery - The young Frenchman is borderline undroppable.

RW: Marco Asensio - It looked as if Asensio would drift into the wilderness after returning from a prolonged injury absence. However, the Spaniard has returned to prominence as of late and is likely to keep his place ahead of Ousmane Dembele.

ST: Goncalo Ramos - Ligue 1 starts have come few and far between for the former Benfica star but he has been an ever-present in the Coupe de France fixtures, scoring twice.

LW: Kylian Mbappe - Those Real Madrid links are starting to re-emerge, but that's not going to change anything regarding his status in Paris for the rest of 2023/24. Mbappe has 29 goals in 28 games this term.
