PSG predicted lineup vs Monaco - Ligue 1
- PSG travel to Monaco looking to extend their lead at the summit of Ligue 1
- Luis Enrique's side won the reverse fixture 5-2 at Parc des Princes
- Kylian Mbappe and Ousmane Dembele are among those guaranteed to start
Paris Saint-Germain face a potentially tricky trip to Monaco on Friday, but the French champions travel to Stade Louis II with an enormous lead at the top of the Ligue 1 table.
The capital side have an 11-point advantage over second-placed Brest and can likely afford a number of slip-ups during the rest of the season without surrendering top spot. One such banana skin could be Monaco, who are currently sat third in the table.
Monaco have been consistent in front of goal this term and PSG have a number of defensive doubts heading to the principality, with Luis Enrique also needing to keep a close eye on Tuesday's Champions League last 16 second leg against Real Sociedad.
Here is how PSG could line up at Monaco this Friday.
PSG predicted lineup (4-3-3)
GK: Gianluigi Donnarumma - The Italian has put in some hit and miss displays for PSG this season, but is undoubtedly Enrique's number one with 29 appearances to his name. He's likely to be tested with regularity on Friday.
RB: Achraf Hakimi - The Moroccan has been in great form since returning from the Africa Cup of Nations and is a constant attacking threat down the right flank. He already has three Ligue 1 goals in just 17 appearances from right-back.
CB: Danilo Pereira - With Presnel Kimpembe sidelined and Milan Skriniar and Marquinhos doubts for Monaco, the Portuguese may be utilised at centre-back by Enrique. He has started PSG's last five matches, keeping two clean sheets.
CB: Lucas Beraldo - The young Brazilian January signing has seen regular minutes since arriving in Paris, totalling ten appearances already. The 20-year-old has been impressive given his inexperience and will need to be sharp to deal with Folarin Balogun and Wissam Ben Yedder.
LB: Lucas Hernandez - Nuno Mendes played his first minutes since last April against Rennes last weekend, but Enrique will want to be careful when re-integrating him into the team. As a result, Hernandez should maintain his spot at left-back.
CM: Vitinha - A graceful presence in the PSG midfield who offers a real dynamism going forward. Should feature against Monaco after three consecutive starts, but Enrique does have a plethora of options in his engine room.
CM: Fabian Ruiz - Another classy operator in PSG's midfield, the Spaniard has been a regular under Enrique this season and is unlikely to be dropped on Friday.
CM: Warren Zaire-Emery - Could be replaced with the more defensive-minded Manuel Ugarte given Monaco's attacking quality, but the youngster rarely disappoints when he's called upon.
RW: Ousmane Dembele - The Frenchman has been far from flawless since making his summer move to PSG, but he has shown glimpses of his talent in recent weeks with two assists in his last five games.
ST: Randal Kolo Muani - Similarly to Dembele, his return to France hasn't been all smooth sailing. The World Cup finalist averaging a goal every three games at present, which is hardly a staggering total at PSG, but could be given another opportunity from the start at Monaco.
LW: Kylian Mbappe - The superstar may not be at PSG too much longer, but they will enjoy him while he's there. The difference-maker for the French giants, plain and simple.
