PSG reveal Georginio Wijnaldum's squad number

Paris Saint-Germain have revealed Georginio Wijnaldum will wear the club's number 18 shirt during his official unveiling.
The Dutchman was announced as a PSG player more than a month ago after opting not to extend his time at Liverpool, though his international commitments have meant he's had to wait until now to be unveiled.
Having penned a three-year deal in the French capital, Les Parisiens have now taken to their official website to confirm Wijnaldum will wear the number 18 from the start of the 2021/22 season.
While it may seem like a relatively obscure number, some iconic players have worn PSG's number 18 shirt in recent years - with Gianluigi Buffon and Zlatan Ibrahimovic among its previous owners.
Wijnaldum takes the shirt from former PSG loanee Moise Kean, with the French side seemingly unable to reach an agreement with Everton over the permanent transfer of the Italy international.
It's already been a busy summer of transfer activity at the Parc des Princes, with Wijnaldum just one of a long list of new arrivals at the club. Mauricio Pochettino's side have secured the signings of former Real Madrid talisman Sergio Ramos, Euro 2020 winner Gianluigi Donnarumma - both of whom also arrived on a free transfer - while highly-rated Morocco international Achraf Hakimi has also joined the club.
PSG are clearly in no mood to mess about as they look to strengthen their squad before trying to wrestle their Ligue 1 title back from Lille, and it sounds as though they're not done yet.
Milan left-back Theo Hernandez is also being targeted by Pochettino, with a €40m (£34.2m) already said to have been tabled. The offer was immediately snubbed by I Rossoneri, but if PSG's transfer dealings so far this summer are anything to go by, they're likely to test Milan's resolve once again.
