Eintracht Frankfurt have confirmed that Randal Kolo Muani has refused to train with the club in a bid to push through a move to Paris Saint-Germain.

The France international has been heavily linked with a move to PSG all summer, and 90min understands that the striker has agreed personal terms ahead of transfers.

Frankfurt have remained firm on their asking price for Kolo Muani however, reportedly rejecting a £69m bid from the Ligue 1 giants for his services recently.

Kolo Muani told Sky Germany on Tuesday that he was keen to join Paris Saint-Germain before the transfer window shuts on Friday evening, saying: "I hope Eintracht will let me leave and join PSG.

"I owe Eintracht a lot. I always gave my best. But it's no secret that PSG made a record offer for me, I'd like to join them as it's big opportunity I hope Eintracht will accept."

Frankfurt have now confirmed that, as well as requesting a move, Kolo Muani has also refused to train in a bid to force the club to allow him to leave.

"We got to know Randal differently and know his real character. There's a lot coming at him at the moment and this has resulted in this reaction, which is wrong, something we've made clear to him and those around him in all its implications," read a statement from Frankfurt's sporting director Markus Krosche.

"We will play the game against Levski Sofia without him. It is clear to us: behaviour has no influence on transfer activities. The important thing now is the important game against Sofia. This is a top priority and of great importance for the club. Our team is of high quality and they are fully focused on tomorrow’s game."

The Bundesliga club are keen to get £86m for the striker who bagged 15 goals in the league last season.
