Raul Jimenez Pictured at Wolves Training Complex Following Head Injury

Wolves forward Raul Jimenez has been pictured at the club's training complex for the first time since his horrific head clash with David Luiz at the Emirates Stadium last month.

The Mexican forward required lengthy on-field treatment before being stretchered off and immediately taken to hospital after a nasty head collision with the Gunners defender.

It was recently revealed the 29-year-old had been discharged from hospital and was resting at home with his family.

Wolves took to their official club website on Thursday to provide a further update on the striker, sharing a picture of Jimenez at the club's training ground as he visited his teammates during a training session.

The forward was accompanied by a club doctor on his visit to the Sir Jack Hayward Training Ground, and was said to be greeted with 'hugs and smiles' by his teammates who took a monetary break in the session to welcome back the Mexican.

Jimenez then spent time watching his colleagues train alongside manager Nuno Espirito Santo, before returning home.

As of yet there has been no update on just how long the Mexican is expected to be sidelined for, though Nuno will no doubt be desperate to see the return of his talisman once he has been given the all clear to return to training.

The Wolves players wore t-shirts with 'Raul' written on the back prior to their clash with Liverpool on Sunday, while the club's fans have set up a funding page of which all contributions have gone towards a giant banner in support of Jimenez which will cover three blocks of the Steve Bull Stand.

The banner will be debuted this Saturday as Wolves take on local rivals Aston Villa at Molineux. Nuno's side have been in patchy form this season, though a win against Dean Smith's mean could see them rise as high as fifth in the Premier League table.
