Real Madrid will lower the curtain on their La Liga campaign with a visit from European hopefuls Athletic Club on Sunday.

With a one-point cushion over Atletico Madrid heading into the final game, three points here is the only way of guaranteeing second place in the table ahead of their city rivals, so there is plenty on the line still.

Here's how Carlo Ancelotti could set up for this one.

GK: Thibaut Courtois - Despite conceding a similar number of goals to previous years, the Belgian is set to record the second-fewest clean sheets of his entire La Liga career.

RB: Dani Carvajal - Back from suspension, expect Carvajal to help out Real's cause at right-back.

CB: Eder Militao - Ancelotti's love of Militao is no secret and the Brazilian will likely be among the first names on the team sheet.

CB: Antonio Rudiger - Benched against Sevilla, Rudiger should get the nod to return here and help Ancelotti solve some other tactical issues.

LB: David Alaba - Left-back is a real problem area for Ancelotti, who could turn to Alaba's experience to get him over the line before the summer transfer window opens.

DM: Toni Kroos - The German has impressed in this deeper midfield role this season and could get another run-out there.

CM: Eduardo Camavinga - Camavinga brings some much-needed energy to Real's midfield and has been one of the team's breakout stars this year.

CM: Federico Valverde - Forced off with an injury against Sevilla from which he has already recovered, expect Valverde to take this final spot.

RW: Rodrygo - The two-goal hero against Sevilla should head back over to the right.

ST: Karim Benzema - Having shaken off his foot injury, Benzema is back available. This is not expected to be his farewell, however, after he changed his mind on a summer departure.

LW: Vinicius Junior - A knee injury has kept Vinicius out of the team ever since the infamous defeat to Valencia but the young winger is thought to be ready to return now.
