Real Madrid won the Copa del Rey for the first time in nine years over the weekend but will soon relinquish their La Liga title to fierce rivals Barcelona.

They could yet still make it a double-winning season should they retain the Champions League title they won last year. But in Manchester City, they have the harder semi-final tie.

GK: Thibaut Courtois - It's five clean sheets in eight Champions League appearances this season, including three in his last three in the competition.

RB: Dani Carvajal - The full-back has started every knockout game so far and the only Champions League game he has missed this season was in the group stage.

CB: Antonio Rudiger - Likely to return to the starting lineup in Eder Militao's suspension absence.

CB: David Alaba - Played 90 minutes in the Copa del Rey final after missing the last four games in La Liga due to niggling fitness issues.

LB: Eduardo Camavinga - The young Frenchman could get the nod over Nacho due to his greater pace and athleticism against City's dynamic attacking threats.

CM: Federico Valverde - On the bench for the last two La Liga games but has remained a regular starter in the Champions League and played 90 minutes in the Copa final.

CM: Toni Kroos - Should be fresh after rarely completing 90 minutes in La Liga in recent months, being prioritised for the Champions League instead.

CM: Luka Modric - Has committed his future to Real for next season and is in a similar situation to Kroos regarding mixed game-time in different competitions.

RW: Rodrygo - Scored the pair of crucial late goals that forced extra-time in this Champions League tie last season and will be buoyed by that here.

ST: Karim Benzema - Netted twice against Liverpool and twice against Chelsea in the previous rounds, so is already well versed when it comes to scoring against English teams.

LW: Vinicius Junior - Only once this season - against Shakhtar Donetsk in the group stage - has the Brazilian failed to score or assist in a Champions League game.
