Red Bull have announced the launch of its first ever Red Bull Four 2 Score football tournament in the UK.

Taking place on Thursday 18 May at Powerleague Liverpool on Whittle Street, the tournament is open to amateur football players and will be fronted by Red Bull athlete and Liverpool superstar Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Speaking about the tournament, Alexander-Arnold said: “I can’t wait to see Red Bull Four 2 Score brought to life in the UK for the first time next month. The unique format of this tournament focuses on all my favourite parts of the game, such as playing positively at key points in the game and rewarding attacking skills.

"I’m really proud that my hometown of Liverpool will be hosting the UK competition, giving us the chance to showcase the incredible football culture in the city.”

Red Bull Four 2 Score brings Red Bull’s power football philosophy to life by challenging players to show their best small-field, 4 vs. 4, football skills.

The rules include 10-minute matches, no breaks and no goalie. On top of that, goals during the first and last minute count for double, rewarding high risk tactics throughout.

The UK tournament will be formed of 12 men’s teams and six women’s teams, with the winners of the men’s and women’s tournaments both qualifying for the inaugural world final taking place this summer in Leipzig, Germany.

The world final will see the winners from all 27 national competitions across the globe go head-to-head in another world-cup style format as Red Bull looks to crown its first ever Four 2 Score champion.

Applications to participate in the first ever UK tournament are now open here.
