Sara Dabritz joins Lyon from PSG

Lyon have unveiled Sara Dabritz as their first signing of the 2022 summer transfer window, with the midfielder joining the European champions from rivals PSG .
Dabritz has put pen to paper on a three-year deal with Lyon, keeping her at the club until 2025.
The Germany international has plied her trade in France since 2019, making 45 appearances during her three years with PSG and winning two major trophies.
Dabritz was part of the PSG side that ended Lyon's run of 14 consecutive Division 1 Feminine titles in 2020/21, featuring 18 times and scoring three goals. The triumph marked the second title of Dabritz's career, having lifted the Bundesliga during her time at Bayern Munich during the 2015/16 campaign.
"Following a successful end to the season for the OL women's team, with the titles of European Champion and French Champion 2022, this first recruit of the off-season confirms the club's high ambitions," a statement released on Lyon's official club website read following the unveiling of Dabritz.
The 27-year-old made 18 appearances for PSG during the 2021/22 campaign, scoring eight goals and providing nine assists. She signed off her spell in Paris by collecting a Coupe de France winners medal.
Dabritz also comes with big pedigree on the international stage. The midfielder has made 85 appearances for Germany, scoring 17 goals and winning the 2013 European Championship and Olympic gold at the 2016 Rio Olympics.
