Southampton make decision on future of manager Ruben Selles
Southampton have decided that they will part ways with manager Ruben Selles at the end of the season, 90min understands.
The Saints' relegation from the Premier League could be confirmed this weekend, sealing a fate which has long been expected.
Ralph Hasenhuttl began the season as manager but was dismissed from his post prior to the World Cup break, with Luton Town's Nathan Jones replacing him.
The eccentric Jones oversaw just a solitary Premier League win during his brief spell in charge before being relieved of his dutires in February.
Southampton then turned to Selles after talks with ex-Leeds boss Jesse Marsch broke down, but results have not picked up despite some admirable performances against the league's top sides.

And sources have told 90min that the Saints are planning to replace the Spaniard for the 2023/24 season, which is almost certain to be in the Championship.
Director of football Jason Wilcox has started to assemble a list of candidates, all of whom have experience in the EFL.
90min understands that one of the targets towards the top of this list is Swansea City's Russell Martin. The Swans narrowly missed out on the play-offs this season and have made great strides under the former Scotland defender, reestablishing the club's philosophy of playing possession-based football.
Martin joined Swansea in 2021 after an impressive two-year stint at Milton Keynes Dons. He was previously linked with Norwich City, where he spent eight years as a player.
