The best of Mohamed Salah's 200 goals for Liverpool
- Mohamed Salah has now grabbed his 200th goal for Liverpool
- The winger has become a club legend since arriving at Anfield in 2017
- The Egyptian has scored some stunning strikes for the Reds over the years
Mohamed Salah has already established himself as a player for the ages at Liverpool, but the Egyptian has hit yet another milestone in a red shirt.
The legendary Liverpool winger netted his 200th goal for the Reds against Crystal Palace on Saturday, his double century having contained some absolutely stunning strikes since his arrival on Merseyside in 2017.
Salah has established himself as a club icon, there is not doubting that, and continues to smash record after record at Anfield.
Here are some of the forward's best goals in a Liverpool shirt.
Liverpool vs Everton - October 2017
One of Salah's early stunners in his Liverpool career came in the Merseyside derby at Anfield and it actually won him the FIFA Puskas Award - the first and only Reds player to have won the accolade.
Despite the fact that it was not worthy of the Puskas Award, especially given it wasn't even the best goal Salah scored that year, it was still an absolute worldie.
The Egyptian outmuscled one Everton defender on the edge of the area before beating Idrissa Gueye and curling into the far top corner with aplomb.
Liverpool vs Manchester City - January 2018
In a seven-goal thriller between Liverpool and Man City at Anfield, Salah bagged what turned out to be the winning goal.
In a 4-3 victory over the eventual champions, Salah scored from 40 yards, collecting Ederson's miscued clearance and caressing home into an empty net from distance.
Liverpool vs Tottenham - February 2018
Another slaloming run from Salah proved too much for the Tottenham defence during a 2-2 draw at Anfield in February 2018.
With Victor Wanyama having already delivered a thunderbolt for Spurs, up stepped Salah to provide a beauty of his own. He jinked on to his right and then back on to his left inside the box in stoppage-time, eventually poking beyond Hugo Lloris.
Unfortunately for Salah, who thought he had won it for the Reds, a late Harry Kane penalty would mean the points were shared.
Liverpool vs Watford - March 2018
Salah etched his name in the Premier League history books against Watford in his debut season with the Reds, adding his name to the list of players to have scored four goals in a single Premier League game.
It was another teasing run from the Egyptian to grab his hat-trick against the Hornets, giving multiple Watford players whiplash before sliding in the ball into the back of the net.
A truly fine solo goal in a 5-0 victory. Oh, and he also grabbed an assist.
Liverpool vs Roma - April 2018
Moving over to the Champions League, Salah proved he was the man for the big occasion, popping up with a brace in a 5-2 semi-final first leg victory over the club he had left less than a year ago, Roma.
The 31-year-old's first was a trademark Salah strike, curling home an unstoppable effort from the edge of the area after cutting in on his left foot, a goal made even better by the fact it clipped the underside of the crossbar on the way in.
His second wasn't bad either, a delightful chip over future Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson, but his first was vintage Salah.
Southampton vs Liverpool - April 2019
Having endured a drought of six Premier League games without a goal, Salah ended his barren run in style in a 3-1 victory over Southampton at St Mary's Stadium.
It all came from a Southampton corner, Liverpool racing clear and Salah collecting the ball inside his own half. He proceeded to make it all the way to the edge of the Southampton box before side-footing an effort into the bottom corner.
It was Salah's 50th Premier League goal and there was the customary shirt removal as he celebrated in front of a euphoric away end.
Liverpool vs Chelsea - April 2019
That strike against Southampton had certainly revived Salah's confidence as he went on to score one of the greatest goals of his career in the next game against old club Chelsea.
The Reds ran out 2-0 winners at Anfield but Salah stole the show, powering a thunderous effort into Kepa Arrizabalaga's top corner from 25 yards out. A truly stunning strike from the Egyptian, matched by his pretty iconic meditation celebration.
Liverpool vs Manchester United - January 2020
After 30 years of hardship, it was at this moment that Liverpool fans truly believed that the league title was theirs.
The Reds were a goal up going into the dying embers against Manchester United at Anfield, but Salah would ensure that there was no late heartbreak for the home supporters.
Alisson's glorious kick up field sent Salah through one-on-one with David de Gea and, even with a speedy Dan James hunting him down, the winger kept his cool to slide beyond the Spanish goalkeeper.
It was a 2-0 victory that moved Liverpool 16 points clear of second-placed Manchester City with a game in hand as the Reds went on to clinch the title.
Watford vs Liverpool - October 2021
Having endured a tough time with Liverpool in the 2020/21 season, Salah was back at his best the following campaign.
October 2021 was a month to remember for Salah, who netted three tremendous goals in the space of a few weeks in the Premier League.
The first came in a 5-0 demolition of Watford. A lovely little drag-back gave him some room in the box before sitting Craig Cathcart down and firing beyond Ben Foster with a wicked left-footed effort.
Liverpool vs Manchester City - October 2021
Salah managed a near identical goal in his next league outing, producing a fine solo strike in a 2-2 draw with Man City at Anfield.
It was another typically tricky Salah run as he weaved in and out of several City defenders, sitting a couple on their backsides, before firing his shot with his weaker right foot beyond Ederson.
Two wonder goals in two matches.
Manchester United vs Liverpool - October 2021
It was another memorable afternoon for Salah next time out against Man Utd, Liverpool thrashing their rivals 5-0 at Old Trafford as their No. 11 grabbed a hat-trick.
The Egyptian had scored a brace in the first half, but his third was delicious. Jordan Henderson set him through on goal with a lovely ball in behind the United defence, Salah composed enough to prod beyond De Gea to claim the match ball.
Liverpool vs Manchester United - March 2023
It's fair to say that Salah enjoys playing Man Utd.
As Liverpool humbled the Red Devils yet again, thrashing them 7-0 at Anfield in one of the most memorable matches in Premier League history, Salah was heavily involved.
The ball broke for Salah in the box with the Reds already boasting a three-goal advantage, before he swivelled on the ball and rifled a fierce strike off the underside of the bar and beyond De Gea.
The forward finished the match with two goals and two assists.
