We're running through all the best players to sign for every position in Football Manager 2022, and now we're at the business end of things. It's time for the attackers.

First up, we're looking at right wingers. They're the ones responsible for racking up the assists, scoring the goals and terrorising defenders. You need to make sure you've got a good one.

With that in mind, here are the best players available after the Winter Update, regardless of what budget you're working with.

Cheap options

Joaquin Sanchez

Joaquin
Real Hispalis

As far as value for money goes, Joaquin is your man for this price range. His solid ability is balanced out by the fact he's about to turn 40, but you'll get one good season out of him for just £775,000.

Adam Ounas
Napoli

24-year-old Ounas begins the game with the same current ability as Joaquin but still has a little more room to grow. £2.7m will get him signed.

Omer Atzili
Maccabi Haifa

Atzili isn't the fastest winger but he has some excellent technical and mental stats to make up for it. He's a smart buy for a second-tier side at just £1.7m.

Ihlas Bebou
Hoffenheim

Togo speedster Bebou can be yours for a little under £5m, for which you'll get a versatile impact sub.

Angel Romero
Cruz Azul

Romero is good enough for a smaller side in the top flight and the 29-year-old can be picked up for around £4m.

Angel Mena
Leon

Undisputed bargains are hard to come by at this price range. For £5m, you won't find many players better than 33-year-old Mena, who is one of the few players in this section who could genuinely hold their own in the top flight.

Xherdan Shaqiri
Chicago

Like Mena, Shaqiri is still an excellent option for a top team. He's tougher to sign because he's only just joined, and his wage demands are a little higher than most, but you can't complain about his £5m price tag.

Marius Wolf
Borussia Dortmund

At £7m, Wolf is the most expensive suggestion here. He's dependable and versatile, allowing him to fill in as a wing-back as well as a winger.

Andre Carillo
Al-Hilal (KSA)

Former Sporting and Benfica man Carillo still has a few years of solid service in his legs. He can be yours for £3.5m.

Nico Lopez
Tigres

15 finishing, 14 pace and 14 dribbling are some of Lopez's best attributes. He's good value for his £4.6m price tag.

Reasonable options

Julian Draxler

Julian Draxler
Paris SG

Now an out-and-out winger instead of a central midfielder, Draxler is one of the better players you'll find without completely breaking the bank. His asking price sits around £9.5m and his wages aren't as high as you'd expect.

Federico Bernardeschi
Zebre

Bernardeschi's £10m asking price is very reasonable but that's balanced out by some hefty wage demands. They're not too much, but you'll need some wiggle room in your budget if you want him.

Adnan Januzaj
Real San Sebastian

£18m will get you cult hero Januzaj, who is still somehow just 26 years old.

Dudu
Palmeiras

Dudu is far better than his £9.5m asking price might suggest. He's very well-rounded with some nice dribbling and passing stats.

Wanderson
Krasnodar

Another of those who should be worth more, Wanderson is available for £9.75m. At 26, he's got a lot of good left to give.

90min recommends

Florian Thauvin
Tigres

Thauvin is far too good to be playing outside of a top division at the age of 28. Tigres will sell him for as little as £7m, which is about as big of a bargain as you'll find. 16 dribbling, 16 first touch, 15 passing and 15 pace should convince you to pull the trigger on this deal.

Malcom
Zenit

Still just 24 years old, Malcom has time and room to grow into a genuine star winger. He'll cost you £15m and some pretty hefty wages.

Jonas Hofmann
Borussia M'gladbach

Often linked with some top sides on the real pitch, Hofmann is good value for £11.5m. He's not the most attack-minded forward but he's still a valuable asset.

Marcus Edwards
Sporting CP

Edwards' current ability is marginally lower than the rest on offer here, but he's more about the future. The former Tottenham youngster can become a real star out wide and his £13.5m price tag is more than reasonable.

Gonzalo Martinez
Al-Nassr (KSA)

Former Atlanta United man Martinez can be yours for a cool £14.25m. 17 dribbling and 15 pace are his top stats.

Expensive options

Riyad Mahrez

Riyad Mahrez
Man City

Mahrez is unreal. He's a top, top player, the sort of whom aren't normally available for as little as £47m.

Diogo Jota
Liverpool

Marginally more expensive at £50m, what Jota offers is elite talent across the entire forward line, including up top. Starts are hard to find for Jota on FM and you should look to take advantage of that.

Gareth Bale
R. Madrid

We have to put him here. You can sign Bale for just £5m, which is a mental bargain, but you'll also need some crazy wages to finalise this deal. If you've got money to burn, he's one to think about.

Angel Di Maria
Paris SG

The fact that he's 33 and on an expiring contract give Di Maria a cheaper price tag. £25m is an absolute steal for a player of his quality, but you'll have to accept that he won't be around forever.

Rafa
Benfica

£28m is what it'll take to land Rafa who, at 28, is far better than that figure might suggest. His wage demands are also pocket change to any side looking at this part of the list.

Kingsley Coman

90min recommends

Kingsley Coman
FC Bayern

Bayern will give you Coman for just £36m, which is mental. He's only 25 and on a contract until 2027, so you'd assume he'd be untouchable. He's absolutely the man you need to be looking at.

Serge Gnabry
FC Bayern

The likely reason for Coman's cheap price, Gnabry himself isn't exactly untouchable. He's one of the best wingers on the game and can be picked up for a comparatively good £65m, which is far less than you'll pay for a lot of wingers of his quality.

Hirving Lozano
Napoli

Mexican sensation Lozano doesn't have the speed he used to, but he's still got 16 flair to make himself more fun. At £32m, you can't go wrong.

Domenico Berardi
Sassuolo

One of the top players in the Italian top flight, Berardi is a steal at £38m. He's an excellent technician who can even play up top thanks to his 15 finishing.

Alexis Saelemaekers
Milan

Saelemaekers has some really nice potential to go along with his excellent current stars. £23m might be a little steep for a player of his current ability, but if you can help him become a superstar, it will be a real bargain.
