The clubs Harry Kane has scored the most goals against
There's no doubting it anymore: Harry Kane is a world class footballer.
He's no one-season wonder, he's no fraud, he's no one trick pony. He scores against just about everyone he plays and at a ridiculous pace. At this point, he's a world beater.
We all know he loves a London derby, but most teams have felt the cold touch of the England star's icy finishing. Here are the teams he holds great records against so far during his career.
29. APOEL Nicosia (3 goals)
One game and three goals is Kane's record against Cypriot outfit APOEL.
That treble came in the 2017/18 Champions League, when the England captain netted a perfect hat trick.
28. Maccabi Haifa (3 goals)
Prior to this Europa League qualifier, Maccabi's Mohammad Abu Fani told Kane to get 'on my c**k'. It didn't work out so well.
Tottenham won the game 7-2 and Kane ended up with a hat-trick. Sometimes it's better to say nothing.
27. Olympiacos (3 goals)
Spurs met Greek outfit Olympiacos during their ill-fated 2019/20 Champions League run.
Kane netted in the away 2-2 draw and helped bail his side out of jail in the return fixture, scoring twice as Tottenham came from behind to win 4-2.
26. PSV Eindhoven (3 goals)
It was a similar tale to Olympiacos as it was with PSV for Kane.
He scored in a 2-2 draw over in the Netherlands before grabbing a brace in a 2-1 victory at Wembley, helping Spurs to qualify from their Champions League group after a horrible start.
25. Swansea (3 goals)
A more reserved three-goal haul here, coming in six games. He's never lost to Swansea, though he's only scored in two matches.
The first goal came in 2014/15, while the other two were in a 5-0 smashing back in 2016/17.
24. Sunderland (3 goals)
Another team Kane is yet to lose to, though that record won't be under threat anytime soon given Sunderland's current standing in League One.
His strikes against the Black Cats have all been relatively straightforward, with no braces or hat tricks.
Kane's first Premier League goal came against Sunderland back in 2014.
23. Asteras Tripoli (4 goals)
Back in the season when Kane burst onto the scene, he made his name as a goalscorer and, err, goalkeeper.
A hat trick came in a 5-1 thrashing of Asteras Tripoli, where he also stood in for Hugo Lloris after the Frenchman had been sent off. He let a free kick squirm under his body for the visitors' goal.
A goal came in the away fixture, too.
22. Borussia Dortmund (4 goals)
Tottenham enjoyed some positive results against Borussia Dortmund in consecutive Champions League campaigns.
Kane scored home and away during the 2017/18 campaign, with two coming at Wembley, and gave Spurs safe passage through to the next season's quarter finals with a strike at the Westfalenstadion.
21. Watford (4 goals)
It took Kane until his third game to notch against Watford, securing a brace during a 4-1 win in 2016/17.
He also scored against the Hornets for Leicester during his spell on loan with the then Championship outfit.
20. Manchester United (4 goals)
Kane has an excellent record against a number of top six clubs, but Manchester United are not one of them.
He had just two goals against the Red Devils in 13 games, though a brace in the 6-1 thumping at the start of the 2020/21 term helped boost that record up to four.
19. Norwich (5 goals)
Just the three games played against Norwich for Kane, but he's returned five goals in those outings.
Two braces came in 3-0 victories during the 2015/16 season, while he was also required to net an equaliser back in 2019/20.
18. Huddersfield (5 goals)
Tottenham were never really threatened by Huddersfield during their brief stint in the Premier League. The Terriers actually never scored against Spurs in those four games.
Kane proved to be difference in two games, scoring braces in comfortable Tottenham wins. He had also netted for Leyton Orient during a loan spell all the way back in 2010/11.
17. Brighton (5 goals)
Kane's first goal against Brighton came in a Carabao Cup tie back in 2014, though since the Seagulls have become a Premier League outfit his numbers have gone up.
Spurs rarely blow Brighton away with their attacking quality but four goals in six Premier League outings is still a decent output for Kane.
16. Newcastle (5 goals)
Strangely enough, Newcastle haven't felt the sting of Kane's deadly finishing as much as other sides.
A brace in a 3-1 2019/20 away win helped boost his record against the Magpies, which is also aided by a strike in a Carabao Cup tie back in 2014.
15. Hull (6 goals)
Romelu Lukaku had the Golden Boot all but won going into the final few games of the 2016/17 season, only for Kane to score seven - yep, seven - goals in the final two matches of the campaign.
Three of those came during the 7-1 final day victory at Hull in a ruthless display from the England marksman.
14. Fulham (6 goals)
Kane doesn't miss the mark when he faces Fulham.
He's scored three times in four Premier League games, but saved his best for an FA Cup clash with the Londoners, registering a hat trick in the fifth round of 2016/17's competition.
13. Aston Villa (6 goals)
It's six goals in six games against Villa for Kane, with the most famous being his deflected free kick that stole victory in Birmingham back in 2014/15.
The Villans' relegation meant Kane had to wait before meeting them again, but he grabbed two on the opening day of the 2019/20 campaign to welcome Dean Smith's side back into the top flight.
12. Liverpool (6 goals)
In 12 games, Kane has only won one game in his career thus far against Liverpool, which is one of his worst records.
He couldn't find the net in the 2019 Champions League final but has racked up six strikes in domestic matches, including two in a 4-1 victory back in 2017.
His 100th Premier League goal also came at Anfield.
11. Chelsea (6 goals)
It was against Chelsea that Kane announced himself as the Premier League's bright new striker in 2015, scoring twice against the would-be champions during a virtuoso display.
Further strikes have come in FA Cup and Carabao Cup semi finals.
10. Crystal Palace (7 goals)
16 games and only seven goals. Really, Harry? Really? C'mon now, time to get serious.
He scored a winner at Selhurst Park during the 2017/18 term, while two strikes in consecutive games against Palace in 2020 helped Tottenham to two 1-1 draws.
9. Bournemouth (7 goals)
When Bournemouth were first promoted for the 2015/16 season, Kane couldn't stop scoring against them.
Five goals came in the two games that term, including a hat trick in a 5-1 away win.
8. West Brom (9 goals)
One of Kane's first league goals for Spurs came during the frantic Tim Sherwood era when they came from three goals down to draw 3-3 in 2014.
Another brace followed in the away fixture the next season before a hat trick in a 4-0 win during the 2016/17 campaign.
7. Burnley (9 goals)
Kane's first goal against Burnley came for Millwall in the Championship back in 2011/12 during a 3-1 win.
Since then, there's been a hat trick in an away 3-0 success and a brace in a 5-0 victory at home, more notable for Son Heung-min's Puskas goal.
6. Everton (10 goals)
In four consecutive games during the 2016/17 and 2018/19 seasons, Kane scored braces to take his tally against Everton up to nine. He then made that double digits in Spurs' frantic 5-4 FA Cup fifth round defeat at Goodison Park in February 2021.
His 100th goal for the Lilywhites also came against the Toffees.
5. Stoke (10 goals)
Kane averages a goal per game against Stoke, having played and scored ten apiece, but he went goalless in those first four appearances.
However, all ten goals have come in last six matches against the Potters, including one in the 2020/21 Cabarao Cup quarter final.
4. Southampton (10 goals)
It was against Southampton that Kane broke Alan Shearer's record for Premier League goals in a calendar year, ending 2017 with 39 goals in 36 games.
That game saw him score a hat trick, but in more recent times he is famous for setting up all four of Son's strikes against the Saints in 2020.
3. Arsenal (11 goals)
Ever since scoring his first two north London derby goals in 2015, Kane has loved facing Tottenham's bitter rivals and his old club.
He's up to 11, with goals against the Gunners coming steadily with no further braces or any hat tricks.
2. West Ham (11 goals)
Kane has had to bail Tottenham out against West Ham a fair few times.
He's twice scored braces in 3-2 successes, though his most recent double came in the 3-3 draw in October 2020, a game Tottenham fans still haven't quite recovered from.
1. Leicester (16 goals)
Leicester must be sick of the sight of their former loanee striker.
Kane enjoyed a period with the Foxes but has since spent his time helping himself to goals against them.
Four goals in one game towards the end of the 2016/17 season helped him claim that term's Golden Boot, while he also got his first Premier League hat trick against them in 2014/15.
