Aside from winning trophies wherever he's been (except Tottenham), it's hard to argue that Jose Mourinho's most famous moment didn't come at the Camp Nou in 2010 during his time as manager of Inter.

After winning Serie A in his first season with the club he would go on to have the most successful campaign in the club's history the following year, winning the treble.

En route to their Champions League triumph over Bayern Munich, Mourinho's side went head to head with Pep Guardiola's reigning European champions Barcelona - with a place in the final at Real Madrid's Bernabeu stadium on the line.

The first leg ended in favour of Mourinho's men - a 3-1 win at the San Siro thanks to goals from Maicon, Wesley Sneijder and Diego Milito, before the crunch tie at the Camp Nou just one week later.

Inter started the game with a back five, two defensive midfielders and Sneijder floating behind Samuel Eto'o and Milito up front. Originally winger Goran Pandev was set to start, but minutes before the game he was reportedly injured and Mourinho brought in Christian Chivu instead.

That formation had to be swiftly altered once again by the Portuguese coach though, as Thiago Motta was sent off for a second yellow card when he palmed Sergio Busquets in the face inside the opening half an hour, leading to an infamous slow-mo shot of the Barça man peeping expectantly through his fingers at the referee after hitting the deck.

What followed was the greatest parking of a bus that's ever been seen, as Mourinho's men banked up behind the ball and prevented one of the best attacking teams of all time from breaking them down. Walter Samuel, Chivu and Lucio were dominant in defensive duels, while Esteban Cambiasso was magnificent shielding and stopping the mazy dribbles or Lionel Messi and passing expertise of Xavi and Andres Iniesta.

Even though Gerard Pique managed to pull one back late on, Inter were never wobbled. They stayed solid and composed throughout the game and were able to show their character and strength to hold out and progress.

The stats at the end of the game were telling. Inter finished up with 24% possession and zero attempts at goal on or off target, showing just how up against the wall they were throughout the 90 minutes of play.

The celebrations that followed remain iconic to this day, as the former Chelsea boss ran onto the pitch at the final whistle with his finger aloft and lapped the Camp Nou.

He was angrily confronted by Barcelona players and officials but refused to be stopped, pointing to the Inter fans who were way up in the heavens. They had done the impossible and survived against the best team on the planet.

It was dubbed a Mourinho masterclass, and is arguably the most iconic performance of any side he's managed.
