From Tottenham Hotspur Stadium - Tottenham shook off a rusty first half performance to dispatch of Norwich 3-0 on Sunday afternoon, with Lucas Moura netting an incredible strike from distance.

Lucas' thumping effort set the tone for the home side as he shimmied away from a few challenges before arrowing an unstoppable drive beyond Tim Krul for his first Premier League goal since February.

Norwich had their chances, with Teemu Pukki shooting straight at Hugo Lloris early on and Adam Idah scuffing wide when extremely well placed, but Davinson Sanchez's scrappy finish doubled Spurs' lead.

The Lilywhites put the seal on the victory when Son Heung-min slammed in from close range following excellent work from Ben Davies.

The win moves Spurs up to sixth in the Premier League - two points off the top four with a game in hand - while Norwich are rooted at the bottom of the table.

Here are your player ratings from north London...

TOTTENHAM PLAYER RATINGS

1. Goalkeeper & defenders

Hugo Lloris (GK) - 6/10 - Good early save to deny Pukki. Horrible bit of goalkeeping almost gave the Finland international an instant equaliser. Was spritely off his line on a few occasions to mop up possession.

Davinson Sanchez (CB) - 7/10 - Looked a bit like Bambi on ice trying to bring the ball out from defence. A fair few iffy moments but was in the right place at the right time to lash in Tottenham's second. Grew into the game and looked more confident by full time.

Eric Dier (CB) - 8/10 - Tottenham's best defender. Sniffed out danger early on and proactively dealt with Norwich's threats.

Ben Davies (CB) - 8/10 - Couldn't adjust his feet quick enough to divert a Son free kick into the goal. Disrupted the Canaries' defence for Sanchez's goal. Got forward well - his assist for Son's strike was particularly composed - and carried out his defensive duties diligently.

2. Midfielders & wing backs

Japhet Tanganga (RWB) - 5/10 - Came in for Emerson Royal, who was missing through illness. Had a interesting battle with Williams, not always getting the better of the Manchester United loanee.

Oliver Skipp (CM) - 8/10 - Great run through the middle of the pitch, but his shot was straight at Krul. Some excellent ball recoveries roused the crowd throughout. Another top display.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg (CM) - 7/10 - Found some decent spots to receive possession, keeping the ball and moving it on nicely.

Sergio Reguilon (LWB) - 5/10 - Had some positional problems early on and got booked. Soon clutched his hamstring and had to be replaced by Sessegnon.

3. Forwards

Lucas Moura (RW) - 8/10 - An absolute thunderbolt put Tottenham into the lead, with some great footwork and interplay with Son creating the opportunity.

Harry Kane (ST) - 6/10 - Went close with a chip that just drifted past the far post. Brought a good save out of Krul from the edge of the box. The ball just wouldn't sit for him to break his league drought.

Son Heung-min (LW) - 8/10 - Claimed the assist for Lucas' strike. Got a few shots away and his corner also led to Sanchez's goal. Kept his head to seal the points with a good low finish.

4. Substitutes

Ryan Sessegnon (LWB) - 6/10 - Came on for the injured Reguilon. Got his head down and looked to attack Aarons out wide, often getting into promising positions. Will be interesting to see how he fares if Reguilon's injury keeps him sidelined.

Matt Doherty (RWB) - 6/10 - On just after the hour mark for Tanganga. Did well in the lead-up to Tottenham's second, picking out Kane before the corner was won. Lashed a decent opening just over the bar.

Steven Bergwijn (RW) - 5/10 - Brought on for the last ten minutes.

NORWICH PLAYER RATINGS

5. Goalkeeper & defenders

Tim Krul (GK) - 6/10 - No chance for Lucas' strike. A big right paw prevented Kane from making it 2-0. Four saves in total for the Dutchman.

Andrew Omobamidele (CB) - 5/10 - Got spun a little too easily before Lucas opened the scoring. A pretty tough afternoon.

Grant Hanley (CB) - 6/10 - Enjoyed his tussles with Kane, sometimes getting the better of the England captain and sometimes looking a bit lost. Won three headers.

Ben Gibson (CB) - 5/10 - Important clearance to stop Kane tapping in from Sessegnon's cross.

6. Midfielders & wing backs

Max Aarons (RWB) - 6/10 - Found some decent pockets of space, especially in the first half. Opportunities dried up in the second period.

Pierre Lees-Melou (CM) - 5/10 - Used the ball fairly well and had a shot blocked, but didn't make much of an impression and was brought off in the second half for Dowell.

Billy Gilmour (CM) - 6/10 - Took a hefty blow when Kane ran him over and was later booked for cynically stopping a counter attack. Comfortable in midfield, with Norwich looking to get him on the ball frequently.

Kenny McLean (CM) - 4/10 - Burst forward at times but didn't make a telling contribution as Norwich were seen off.

Brandon Williams (LWB) - 6/10 - Decent chance to level but couldn't get over the top of a half volley from the edge of the box. Spared with Tanganga out wide and enjoyed some success. Good recovery challenge on Doherty when the Irishman was in.

7. Forwards

Teemu Pukki
Pukki should have scored / Mike Hewitt/GettyImages

Adam Idah (ST) - 6/10 - Looked bright and picked out a lovely pass for Pukki who should have done better. Somehow missed from the six-yard line when it looked easier to score.

Teemu Pukki (ST) - 6/10 - Should have scored with the game's first big chance, instead shooting straight at Lloris from close range. Booked for bringing down Kane on the counter. His scuffed effort turned into a great chance for Idah.

8. Substitutes

Josh Sargent (RW) - 4/10 - Can't buy a goal. Really should have converted from a cutback but mis-kicked the ball off one foot onto the other.

Kieran Dowell (CM) - 5/10 - Got 20 minutes off the bench.

Jacob Sorensen (CM) - 5/10 - On for the last ten minutes.
