Tottenham predicted lineup vs Burnley - Premier League
Tottenham travel to Burnley on Wednesday night as they look to build on a momentous victory over Manchester City at the weekend.
That victory broke a three-match Premier League losing streak and Spurs know they cannot afford any more slip-ups if a top-four finish is to be obtained.
Spurs are looking close to full strength ahead of this one but Antonio Conte could still shake things up to keep his charges fresh for the rest of the season. Here is the starting XI that the Italian seems most likely to go for...
Tottenham predicted lineup vs Burnley - Premier League
1. Goalkeeper & defenders
Hugo Lloris (GK) - Lloris may be getting on but he remains one of the Premier League's more reliable stoppers. This season he has registered the 11th best save percentage in the division.
Eric Dier (CB) - His return against City was a huge boost for Spurs and Conte will be desperate for him to remain fit for the rest of the season.
Cristian Romero (CB) - Growing in confidence with each passing week. Spurs would likely be in a stronger position this campaign if he had not missed a decent portion of the season through injury.
Ben Davies (CB) - Davies does not give you many thrills on the ball, but he so rarely makes an error.
2. Wing-backs & midfielders
Emerson Royal (RWB) - Emerson has the rest of the season to prove he's cut out for the Premier League. If not, he is likely to be replaced in the summer.
Rodrigo Bentancur (CM) - Such a shrewd addition. He contrasts nicely with Hojbjerg and should be able to dominate Burnley's midfielders.
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg (CM) - Conte dismissed any suggestion of a disagreement between himself and Hojbjerg in his press conference, so the Dane should start.
Ryan Sessegnon (LWB) - Conte recently revealed that he 'trusts' Sessegnon, who will be playing again in the absence of Sergio Reguilon.
3. Forward
Dejan Kulusevski (RF) - Opened his Spurs scoring account on Saturday evening and will be eyeing another goal in midweek.
Harry Kane (ST) - He's not had a vintage season by his own high standards but a brace against Man City provided a timely reminder of his incredible talent.
Son Heung-min (LF) - Subbed for Lucas Moura at the weekend so will be fresh here.
