Tottenham travel to city rivals Fulham on Tuesday night looking to seal their spot in the third round of the Carabao Cup.
Spurs are playing in the second round for the first time since 2009 after finishing eighth and failing to qualify for Europe. Cup runs have been hard to come by in recent years, exiting this competition in the third round last year to Nottingham Forest, while their FA Cup run came to an end in the fifth round at Sheffield United.
A change in playing style may help their prospects as manager Ange Postecoglou - successful in cup competitions at Celtic - targets the club's first piece of silverware since 2008.

GK: Guglielmo Vicario - Cup competitions are often used to give second choice goalkeepers a run out but that makes little sense with Vicario arriving in the summer and Fraser Forster the current reserve option.
RB: Emerson Royal - The Brazilian is duking it out with Pedro Porro for the right-back berth and is seen as the more defensive option compared with the Spaniard's attacking intent.
CB: Cristian Romero - There are fewer games to negotiate for Tottenham this season due to their lack of European involvement, so building the centre-back partnership between Romero and Van de Ven is a must right now.
CB: Micky van de Ven - Has complimented Romero's aggressive approach with his lightning fast recovery pace, helping Spurs record clean sheets in back-to-back 2-0 wins.
LB: Ben Davies - Destiny Udogie was taken off against Bournemouth as a precaution but swapping Davies in at left-back is still a safe option.
CM: Oliver Skipp - Has watched on from the bench after Pape Matar Sarr took his chance against Manchester United and will need to impress in a similar box-to-box role to earn back a starting role.
CM: Yves Bissouma - Already looks integral to this new-look Spurs side, comfortably keeping the ball and rolling forward like he did when at Brighton.
RW: Manor Solomon - The Israel international could bag his first start of the season against his former side. Solomon scored four goals in 19 league appearances for the Cottagers last term.
AM: Giovani Lo Celso - Seen as the natural back up to James Maddison, Lo Celso may also get his first start of the season at Craven Cottage having impressed during pre-season.
LW: Son Heung-min - Tottenham's new captain may target this game as the perfect opportunity to get up and running goal-wise this campaign.
ST: Richarlison - The Brazilian number nine has been ineffective and sometimes detrimental to Tottenham's attack in their opening three games. Has had four shots in total.
