Tottenham predicted lineup vs Nottingham Forest - Premier League
By Tom Gott
After three defeats and two cup eliminations in a little over a week, Tottenham really need a win when they host Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
All the doom and gloom has seen some fans forget that Spurs are still well in the fight for a top-four spot, and victory here would go a long way to easing all the tension that has grown at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Here's how Antonio Conte could set up.
Tottenham predicted lineup vs Nottingham Forest (3-4-2-1)
GK: Fraser Forster - Hugo Lloris remains out with injury so there's no other option than Forster.
CB: Cristian Romero - Depending on the severity of the injury he picked up as he was sent off in midweek, Romero will likely start here.
CB: Eric Dier - If Conte chooses to rotate his squad to try and inject some more energy, he may reinstate Dier to the team.
CB: Ben Davies - Davies may be needed on the left side of the defence to help out at both ends of the field.
RM: Pedro Porro - Emerson failed to make the most of his chance against Milan so Porro may come back into the starting lineup.
CM: Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg - Rodrigo Bentancur and Yves Bissouma are both still injured so Hojbjerg will need to bring the experience into midfield.
CM: Pape Matar Sarr - It's Oliver Skipp who has been starting recently but Sarr deserves more opportunities.
LM: Ivan Perisic - Perisic is really struggling but Ryan Sessegnon's injury mean the Croatian will have to continue.
AM: Dejan Kulusevski - Richarlison's chances of taking this spot may have been harmed by his outburst in midweek.
AM: Son Heung-min - Will Conte drop Son? Arnaut Danjuma is waiting in the wings but it doesn't really seem as though the boss is ready to make that move.
ST: Harry Kane - Kane's mind will be all over after Spurs' Champions League elimination, but he needs to keep focused and get among the goals once again.
