Tottenham travel east to face their capital rivals West Ham United in the Premier League on Wednesday evening.

This is the first of numerous midweek fixtures that Tottenham will be engaged in as the powers that be try to cram in as many matches as possible before the Qatar World Cup. Antonio Conte revealed that "it’s normal to make rotation" during this busy period and warned: "The players [need] to be intelligent to understand that they have to sometimes go on the bench, come in, alternate."

Here's the tweaked XI that may benefit from Conte's rotation policy.

Tottenham predicted lineup vs West Ham (3-4-3)

1. Tottenham XI

GK: Hugo Lloris - Hardy the most demonstrative Premier League captain, Lloris once explained his laid-back demeanour by offering: “Everyone has their own personality. I really like tranquility.”

CB: Cristian Romero - After sitting out Tottenham last two outings - a pair of clean sheets - "Cuti" could be ushered back into the starting XI now he is injury free.

CB: Eric Dier - Clean sheet, three points, a last-minute winner against your new club's fierce rivals. Dier's Premier League debut against West Ham back in 2014 couldn't have gone much better. Although, he hasn't scored against the Hammers in 16 matches since.

CB: Ben Davies - Only Tottenham's London rivals West Ham and Chelsea have spent more in this summer transfer window than the Lilywhites. With his 2:1 in Economics and Business, Davies will be able to appreciate the club's financial standing better than most in the squad.

RWB: Emerson Royal - The all-action Brazilian has had more touches in the final third than Harry Kane this season (per FBref).

CM: Yves Bissouma - With the warning of rotation already flagged by Conte ahead of Wednesday night, the £25m arrival may be afforded his first start for the club.

CM: Pierre Hojbjerg - A potentially divisive player elicits a straightforward reaction from his manager. "Pierre doesn't divide my head," Conte insisted at the start of the week. "I am really happy with his performance."

LWB: Ryan Sessegnon - One of the hardy bunch that didn't vomit during preseason, Sessegnon has already felt the benefit of sprinting 42 football pitch lengths in 30-degree heat, admitting: "You almost feel unstoppable."

RW: Dejan Kulusevski - The rapidly improving Swede comes from a background that is perfectly suited to playing under a manager with the demands of Conte. "In my family," Kulusevski explained to Sky Sports, "we know how to suffer."

ST: Harry Kane - Nottingham Forest's Dean Henderson broke a sequence of 21 consecutive penalties for Spurs converted by Kane last weekend.

LW: Richarlison - Everyone's favourite player to hate cuts a dramatically contrasting figure off the pitch. One of the innumerable stories that underline Richarlison's generosity detail a teenager marking his first sponsorship deal with Nike by handing out his shipment of freebies (and the suitcase he carried the tracksuits in) to Belo Horizonte's homeless community.
