Edinson CAVANIIIIIIII!!!
Manchester United fans have had to wait an eternity to return to Old Trafford, but just 15 minutes into their Premier League clash against Fulham they were rewarded for their extended patience.
Latching onto a clever, around-the-corner flick from Bruno Fernandes, Cavani spotted Alphonse Areola off his line as he advanced into Fulham's half. What happened next will go down in United folklore.
WHAT A GOAL! ?

After the dust had settled on one of the goals of the season, people's thoughts turned - as they often will over the next few months - to the transfer story of the summer. Namely, where Tottenham talisman Harry Kane will end up.
Opinion was split fairly evenly about whether United should persist with Cavani for another season or bring in Kane to play alongside the Uruguayan. Now, that would be some spectacle.
Cavani > Kane

Chelsea and Man City get into a bidding war and pay 120m for Kane. Edi gonna bag is goals alllll next season and he came on a free ?
cavani for one more year, sancho this summer, Levy outpricing kane out of a city move and then us pouncing the summer after ?

harry kane will be delighted to play upfront duo with cavani xixi
— Boyke Pratama S.Ikom (@BoyElectric) May 18, 2021
We have Cavani, he's enough. Harry Kane is massively unneeded
— Frank Lucas' Fur Coat (@Mbookletz) May 18, 2021
We really need to get Kane. The attack of Kane-Cavani-Rashford/Greenwood

That Martial can leave really, i don't khe a damn.
Who needs Kane when you have Cavani ??
— Max Mufc (@maxmufc7) May 18, 2021
Just imagine Manchester United with cavani and Harry Kane playing up front just hand over the premier league to us.

And if all that chat isn't enough to warm your cockles, take comfort in the fact that Bruno - he was the one to 'assist' the goal, remember - actually missed the ball when attempting to flick it (by quite some way), meaning Cavani was in fact offside (he was when David de Gea cleared the ball) and the whole thing should never had stood.
Excellent.
