Twitter mugs off Harry Maguire for one of the worst minutes of football ever
By Ross Jackson

Harry Maguire is no stranger to becoming the face of footballing memes for months on end.
Whether it's him leaning on the railings chatting to (presumably) his girlfriend at an England game or just him looking, well, like him, the Manchester United man has just got one of those faces.
And the image at the top of this page may well be the next in his back catalogue set to grace your social media feeds for the next five years.
Maguire endured what can only be described as the funniest 30 seconds of football in the history of football being a thing. Taking the field for United's 1-1 draw in their Europa League first leg tie against Milan, the centre-back's first hilarious moment came as Alex Telles lined up a free kick in a threatening position.
Maguire stood directly in front of the ball before trying to move out of the way, though Telles presumably forgot just how big the United man's head actually is...
Top tip...if taking a free kick don't put Harry Maguire and his gigantic head in the opposition wall.

Maguire just acted as a wall and blocked United free kick this guy never fails to impress me ?

Maguire is defending well for Milan, first a magnificent block with his huge head from a Telles free kick then a last ditch goal line clearance with no pressure on him, that's special ?

Maguire defending his own free kick, propa defender ??

Not content with walking away with a huge Europa League print on his forehead, Maguire then decided to complete his moment of madness by somehow missing an open goal from all of about one yard.
It's fair to say, this was enough to send the whole of Manchester United Twitter into complete and utter meltdown.

Nearly choked on my dinner laughing at Maguire blocking our own free kick then missing an open goal from 1 yard. He's nearly as entertaining as Bailly in a purely masochistic sense.

Maguire made up for his fat head blocking the free kick by missing from 3cm out

“Well at least it shows he’s got defensive abilities and maybe next week he’ll defend for us instead eh” pic.twitter.com/4NlkuvuqNN
Amad Diallo's half-time introduction certainly sparked United into life, and it didn't take long for the youngster to produce a moment of unbelievable quality to hand his side the lead.
Welcome to Old Trafford, Amad Diallo!

Only on the pitch five minutes and he opens the scoring with a brilliant backwards header ?#UEL pic.twitter.com/XHBIflKmbx
Amad Diallo has more Europa League goals than Ronaldo, Haaland, Mbappe and Messi combined i know who my GOAT is

The former Atalanta man's backwards header looked like it would be enough to hand United the lead at the halfway point of their tie with Milan, but there was a late sting in the tail.
Simon Kjaer leapt like a salmon to latch onto a late Milan corner, with the Danish defender's powerful effort slipping through the gloves of Dean Henderson, with the treacherous weather conditions doing little to aid the United goalkeeper's attempts to block the effort.
The good people of Twitter didn't offer quite so much sympathy.
How is Dean Henderson 6ft standing but 5ft jumping ???????

Strange technique from Dean Henderson to attempt a squat when a ball is coming at him
