Tyrell Malacia endorses Cody Gakpo for Man Utd transfer
Tyrell Malacia has insisted that Netherlands teammate Cody Gakpo is 'good enough' to play at the highest level amid interest from Manchester United.
90min recently revealed that Gakpo's performances at the World Cup helped convince Manchester United's hierarchy that the Dutchman is ready for a transfer to the Premier League. With the Red Devils in dire need of a striker following Cristiano Ronaldo's departure, Gakpo's form at the tournament in Qatar has shown that he certainly fits the bill.
Gakpo has scored three goals in four games at the World Cup, taking his domestic form with PSV Eindhoven into the tournament - the 23-year-old has 21 goal contributions to his name in just 14 Eredivisie games this season.

Speaking after the game to The Athletic, Malacia was asked if he believed Gakpo is ready for a move to a club like Manchester United, and he firmly responded: "He's good enough for the top, there's no doubt."
Gakpo himself was also asked about his future following the Netherlands impressive 3-1 win over the United States on Saturday, stating: “I have to be honest, I am not thinking about that now.
“I am focused on the tournament and want to keep performing well, to keep helping the team. Hopefully when we become world champions we can think about other things.
“I try to keep focused and the other players don’t really speak about that kind of thing.”
