Bayern Munich will look to get back to winning ways in the Bundesliga this weekend, as the Bavarians travel to the capital city to take on Union Berlin.

Bayern starred in an amazing 3-3 draw against RB Leipzig last weekend. A 75th minute equaliser from Thomas Muller was enough to see both sides share the points. However, with Bayer Leverkusen breathing down their necks in the chase for top spot, a win against Union will do Hansi Flick and his men just nicely.

Team News

Union Berlin will be without star midfielder Robert Andrich after a red card in the Berlin derby vs Hertha last weekend. The club's top scorer Max Kruse will also miss Bayern's visit with a muscular problem.

Anthony Ujah and Joel Pohjanpalo will sit out this clash, but Nico Schlotterbeck could return to the team after resuming training.

For Bayern, they welcomed Alphonso Davies back from injury in the Champions League in midweek. The left-back managed 70 minutes against Lokomotiv Moscow, so will be keen to keep his place in the starting XI vs Union.

Both Joshua Kimmich and Javi Martinez, however, continue to be sidelined due to their respective injuries and won't return until 2021.

Union Berlin have proved themselves to be no pushovers in their second-ever season in Germany's top flight, so while on paper Bayern Munich look to be the favourites, it will be no walk in the park.

That said, Union Berlin will be much changed due to injuries and suspension to some of their biggest performers, so an upset seems unlikely.
