The US men's national team are set to take on Germany, and head coach Gregg Berhalter will want to pick a strong side to showcase his squad in East Hartford, Connecticut.

Berhalter went two-for-two when he returned to the bench for the US, leading the team to wins over Uzbekistan and Oman without conceding once. Now, the Stars and Stripes face a much bigger test against one of the soccer powerhouses, even if they have struggled recently.

Here's how Berhalter may choose to line up against Die Mannschaft...

Matt Turner

GK: Matt Turner - No surprises here. Turner has proved himself as the No. 1 for the Stars and Stripes, coming up clutch when his name is called.

RB: Sergiño Dest - The PSV Eindhoven player looked excellent against Oman and Uzbekistan, and he'll hope to continue that form against Germany.

CB: Miles Robinson - After only featuring against Oman in September, Robinson will look to start against the 2014 World Champions.

CB: Tim Ream - Another no brainer here, as Ream continues to age like a fine wine.

LB: DeJuan Jones - The New England Revolution full-back looks set to make his eight appearance for the Stars and Stripes.

CM: Yunus Musah - After finding minutes hard to come by AC Milan early on, Musah has started to get back into rhythm ahead of the international break.

CM: Weston McKennie - A true leader in the midfield, McKennie gets the nod in the middle of the three.

CM: Luca de la Torre - de la Torre joins McKennie and Musah in the middle of the park in what will be an exciting clash against a talented Germany midfield.

RW: Tim Weah - The versatile player will look to create havoc on the wing against the Germany defense.

ST: Folarin Balogun - Balogun will hope to score his third goal in just five appearances for USA.

LW: Christian Pulisic - He's off to a flying start with AC Milan, and he'll aim to keep that strong run of form going at the Pratt & Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field.
