USMNT names roster for October, November fitness camp: 9 MLS players called up

Gregg Berhalter has named his roster for the United States Men's National Team's upcoming training camp between October 25 and November 5.
The group features a collection of MLS players in strong contention for a place on the USMNT's World Cup roster who are no longer playing in league competition.
Those MLS players are as follows:
- Gabriel Slonina (Chicago Fire)
- Walker Zimmerman (Nashville SC)
- Aaron Long (New York Red Bulls)
- DeAndre Yedlin (Inter Miami)
- Shaq Moore (Nashville SC)
- Cristian Roldan (Seattle Sounders)
- Paul Arriola (FC Dallas)
- Jordan Morris (Seattle Sounders)
- Jesus Ferreira (FC Dallas)
The players in contention for World Cup roster spots will train alongside the following U-20 talents:
- Chris Brady (Chicago Fire)
- Antonio Carrera (FC Dallas)
- Jalen Neal (LA Galaxy)
- Marcus Ferkranus (LA Galaxy)
- John Tolkin (New York Red Bulls)
- Caleb Wiley (Atlanta United)
- Kayden Pierre (Sporting Kansas City)
- Aidan Morris (Columbus Crew)
- Daniel Edelman (New York Red Bulls)
- Danny Leyva (Seattle Sounders)
- Niko Tsakiris (San Jose Earthquakes)
- Brian Gutierrez (Chicago Fire)
- Cade Cowell (San Jose Earthquakes)
- Jackson Hopkins (DC United)
- Marcos Zambrano (Philadelphia Union)
Berhalter could add more senior MLS players to the roster as their domestic seasons reach a conclusion.
For a number of players, this will be their final chance to impress before Berhalter names his final roster for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
The 26-player roster will be revealed at an event at Brooklyn Steel, New York, on Wednesday, November 9, less than two weeks before the Stars and Stripes begin their campaign against Wales on November 21.
