West Ham predicted lineup vs Leeds United - Premier League

West Ham United welcome David Moyes' favourite opponents Leeds United to the London Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

Moyes has the longest undefeated Premier League record of any manager against Leeds, winning six of his seven meetings with the Yorkshire outfit. Incidentally, that 86% win ratio is the highest of any coach that has faced Leeds more than a handful of times in the Premier League era.

Here's the XI the West Ham boss may deploy to uphold his supreme form in this fixture.

1. Goalkeeper & defenders

Lukasz Fabianski (GK) - One of the division's most traditional 'line goalkeepers', West Ham's custodian rarely collects crosses or strays out of his six yard box.

Vladimir Coufal (RB) - West Ham ended 2021 with three Czech Republic internationals on the pitch, becoming the first team to do so in Premier League history. Although, Coufal may be his nation's only representative this weekend.

Craig Dawson (CB) - Fresh from his 50th appearance for the club in midweek, Dawson's paltry transfer fee ensures that each outing has cost the club a little over £40,000 on average - a figure that is only set to dwindle with his continued involvement.

Issa Diop (CB) - There is optimism that Kurt Zouma won't be out much longer, but in the meantime, it'll be Diop to start once again.

Aaron Cresswell (LB) - West Ham's much-missed fullback seamlessly slipped back into action in his first outing in a month and a half against Norwich.

2. Midfielders

Declan Rice (CM) - No Premier League midfielder has driven the ball further towards the opposition goal than West Ham's Basmati Busquets (or Calrose Casemiro, depending on your clasico leanings).

Manuel Lanzini (CM) - Forced into a more reserved role in the likely (and rare) absence of both Tomas Soucek and Mark Noble, Lanzini has been in such electric form he can shine anywhere at the moment.

Pablo Fornals (AM) - The Spain international made his first Premier League appearance in midweek since getting hooked at half-time during West Ham's Boxing Day defeat to Southampton.

3. Forwards

Jarrod Bowen (RW) - No English player in the Premier League has directly contributed to more goals this season (five goals, seven assists) than West Ham's uncapped star.

Michail Antonio (ST) - Having endured a goalless lull between Halloween and Christmas Day when his shots (more worryingly) also dried up, Antonio is back on the scoresheet with as many attempts at goal in his last four games (11) as he could muster during his eight-match drought.

Nikola Vlasic (LW) - There should be a third straight start for Vlasic, who will benefit from Said Benrahma's AFCON absence.
