When does Kylian Mbappe's PSG contract expire?
Kylian's back, and he's ready to do it all over again!
The superstar Frenchman is never too far away from transfer speculation, and we're bound to enjoy another summer saga after Mbappe confirmed his desire to depart Paris Saint-Germain. Well, he has no intention of extending his contract in the French capital which will force PSG's hand. They do not want to lose, arguably, the world's best footballer for nothing in 2024.
Florentino Perez's ears would've undoubtedly pricked when he heard the news. Real Madrid have long been linked with a gargantuan move for Mbappe, but Perez's ego was damaged when Los Blancos failed in their most recent pursuit.
Nevertheless, the Real president is determined to bring the Frenchman to the Bernabeu, and Karim Benzema's departure to the Saudi frontier renders such an addition necessary if Real are to regain their place as both Spain and Europe's supreme force.
Here are all the details regarding Mbappe's current PSG contract.

When does Kylian Mbappe's contract at PSG expire?
Despite PSG claiming in May 2022 that Mbappe had penned a three-year extension in the French capital, the forward had only signed a new two-year deal.
However, a clause was included in the contract which stated that the player could extend his stay by a further year before 31 July 2023, otherwise, he'd become a free agent at the end of the 2023/24 season.
The extension clause is understood to be mutual, meaning both Mbappe and PSG would have to agree to trigger it.
How much does Kylian Mbappe earn at PSG?
PSG pulled out all the stops to retain Mbappe in 2022 by offering him the most lucrative contract handed out to any footballer before Cristiano Ronaldo joined Al Nassr in the Saudi Pro League.
There are various reports surrounding the extent of Mbappe's wealth as a result of his latest extension, with some suggesting the Frenchman will make €630m before tax over the course of his deal. He's said to be earning €6m a month which comes down to €2.7m after tax. Oh, and there's also the mammoth €180m signing-on bonus to take into account, too.
Along with ludicrous financial guarantees, Mbappe's PSG contract handed the player an unprecedented amount of power at the club with many reporting that the 24-year-old has legitimate authority in regard to several key decision-making processes such as the hiring of sporting directors and managers.
Who could sign Kylian Mbappe this summer?
While PIF's investment in the Saudi Pro League's 'Big Four' means any one of those clubs could finance a move for Mbappe, the 24-year-old will remain in Europe and Real Madrid are the overwhelming favourites for his signature.
The Spanish giants tried their utmost in the summers of 2021 and 2022 to bring Mbappe to the capital but were unsuccessful on both occasions. Perez recently admitted that the Frenchman remains a target for Real, “but not for this year” after the club splurged upwards of €100m to sign Jude Bellingham.
Manchester United may have the wealth to pull off a move, especially if their takeover is completed soon (although this looks unlikely), but, overall, it'd be a major surprise to see Mbappe land anywhere but Real Madrid if he was to depart PSG this summer - even if Perez has so far been coy.
Manchester City, Chelsea and Bayern Munich are the other sides with the financial muscle to pull off a deal, although whether any will involve themselves in the race is an entirely different question.
