Major League Soccer's Secondary Transfer Window is set to come to a close in the next week.

This summer's transfer window hasn't disappointed as we've seen plenty of inbound and outbound transfers from teams across MLS. Atlanta United have been one of the busiest with players like Giorgios Giakoumakis, Thiago Almada and Caleb Wiley all leaving the club, while Alexey Miranchuk and Pedro Amador have joined the Five Stripes.

LAFC have also been active this summer with Olivier Giroud joining on a free transfer from Italian giants AC Milan while the team is also in talks to sign fellow Frenchman Antoine Griezmann from Atletico Madrid.

LAFC's biggest rivals in LA Galaxy have reportedly complete a deal for for ex-Borussia Dortmund figure Marco Reus to bolster their attacking options alongside Riqui Puig, Gabriel Pec and Joseph Paintsil.

The MLS Secondary Transfer Window opened on July 12 for Canadian clubs and is set to close on August 8, while the window for United States clubs is a little different.

For US-based clubs, the Secondary Transfer Window runs from July 18 to August 14, meaning the likes of LA Galaxy and LAFC -- and any other MLS team -- have less than a week to finalize a deal for any potential incoming player(s).

This transfer window also applies to trades between MLS teams, as we've already seen a few big trades such as St Louis CITY trading for New England Revolution's Henry Kessler in exchange for Tim Parker and $600k in General Allocation Money (GAM).

In terns of last-minute deals, all eyes are on LAFC and Griezmann. Adding another forward with the attacking threat Griezmann provides to pair with Giroud and Denis Bouanga would make LAFC one of the favorites to win the MLS Cup.
