When Ryan Gravenberch could make his Liverpool debut

Liverpool fans will have to wait a little while for deadline day signing Ryan Gravenberch to make his debut for the club, having arrived too late to face Aston Villa on Sunday afternoon.
Gravenberch completed his £34m switch from Bayern Munich on Friday night, boosting the midfield ranks at Anfield and moving on from the fringe role he had occupied in Germany.
The 21-year-old Dutch had previously been considered one of the brightest midfield talents in Europe during his time at Ajax under now Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag, with his transfer to Liverpool a chance to reignite his career and get back to the path he was previously on.
But Klopp said he is "pretty sure" that Gravenberch won’t feature for Liverpool until after the September international break.
"I got told that it will not happen with the paperwork – I'm pretty sure on deadline day everybody, or the decisive offices, are pretty busy," the boss explained to the club's official website.
"I didn't follow it yet, what's going on there in the world of transfers, but I am pretty sure they are busy so I think that will not happen but we will see. Today [Friday] is obviously super busy, he landed this morning really early so he had to get up really early."

Gravenberch was able to train with his new Liverpool teammates on Saturday ahead of the Villa game. But his debut will likely come in a fortnight instead.
After the international break, Liverpool are set to travel to the midlands to face Wolves in the Premier League on 16 September. By then, Gravenberch will have had close to two weeks to settle into his new surroundings and get to grips with Klopp’s ideas and methods.
It is arguably a blessing in disguise that the player hasn't been called up by Netherlands boss Ronald Koeman for the Euro 2024 qualifiers against Greece and Republic of Ireland because it will allow his focus to be fully on Liverpool during this moment of personal upheaval.
